Your right John, find a good dentist and pay him greenbacks or Euro's is the way to go. My wife also visited one of the polyclinic type dentist before she came to America. NEVER again! What a joke. She will never use the clown she went to in Odessa again. It's either my expensive North Dallas dentist or my new dentist in Kiev. Actualy when we go back in three months I plan on sending her to this dentist as she arrives in Kiev and looking at getting whatever work she needs done at that time.

I wonder if it is economically viable to fly people over for dental treatment. Including return flight and apartment it might still be cheaper to go to UKR if some major work is required.

I need a couple of posts installed in my jaw.  My price is somewhere between $3K-4K.  Given Jack's prices, that would be closer to $375-$500.  Throw in round trip tickets for me and the missus, and I could get my teeth done for a little more than a regular vacation over there.  My pocketbook would be happy and the missus would be happy to visit home again.  Hmmm, something to think about for next year...

What I saved on dental work more than paid for my trip.

I think it is something for some guys to consider. Maybe such work could also save other guys a few thousand, enough to pay for their trip.

CW, does Uncle Sam help with any of your dental?

Dencom or US army dental corp provides free dental care to all service men. They are headquarted at Fort Sam in Houston. Its run like a military regiment under the command of a Major General.

Motto: "Relax and open wide, your mouth, not your wallet!"

You got to remember Jack, you live in the Big City of Dallas, where prices for work are always more expensive...

Kind of like the saying - tomatos are always cheaper in the country side and expensive in the city.

Have Rostick find out how much a gold crown would cost on my upper #4 RH (in my mouth) tooth in the back of my mouth?   My local dentist wants $700.

Oh Bill, there you go again talking about them red tamaters.
You need to take some of your king size ruby red tamaters seeds to Ukraine if you want to make some nickels, maybe meet you a nice Ukraine country girl in the process.

I will get Galina to ask the dentist about your gold crown and get back to you.

Have Galina look through her archives of women!  And find me a tomato/garden patch girl.

Teeth optional.
Non-smoker, no tatoos.
5'4-5'9, as I'm 6'2.

Though I'm only about 5 miles from the nearest McDonalds & Wal-Mart... I am living out on a country highway in my swank babe magnet home on wheels.  (wheels have been removed, I'm staying put).

If she finds a girl.  Tell her she'll be living in the lap of luxury.  In door plumbing, a commode that actually works!
Though, I do drink well water.....100' down!

(Just for laughs, tell her I've got a small wooden bucket and a big long rope).
