As I mentioned, I'm helping a pal with this adventure. He was almost scammed a while back but now, after dealing with tons of girls, he has found what he thinks is the R/W of his dreams....in Canada. (How they connected is an interesting story in itself.) 35 and beautiful, she has never been involved with MOB in anyway. Came to The Great White North a few years ago on some sort of family visa. My pal is mesmerized by this woman (after seeing her photos and speaking with her, can't say I blame him) and is considering meeting her in the US rather than him going to Canada. (She has a US tourist visa.)

Although it's premature, he's wondering what the process will be if this develops? A typical K1? She is *not* a Canadian citizen and holds a Russian passport. Yet she is legal and even has a US visa and has been here a few times. Under what legal status is she in Canada? How does the Canadian version of "permanent resident" work? Zink? Del? Other Canucks out there?

Fwiw, I've talk to her a little and it's been interesting. Although she's never been involved in MOB she has some pretty strong opinions about the motives of those she knows back home who are. She also has some serious viewpoints on how they'll change once here. Suffice to say, it ain't good. (Don't beat on the messenger, I offer it up only as a data point. At least she has experience in one of those areas.)

Her westernization is very apparent and manifests itself in several ways. An interesting mix of R/W and A/W, she's not at all like those I dealt with in the FSU. Still, she's quite compelling and he thinks she's mighty fine. Immigration is not an issue (perhaps you've heard Canada was recently ranked as the best country to live in), so he feels comfortable she's not a player.

Anyone want to comment on how this situation should proceed? Visa issues or otherwise?

Btw, if you think thats strange let me tell you about a very sweet girl he found in Kherson who is looking for someone. She has two young daughters from two seperate men....both black Africans. (How this happened in Southern Ukraine is still somewhat of a mystery to us.)

These kids are beautiful, dark skinned and with some features of that race. As you can imagine, the flack she has to take from the local community (including her family) is staggering. It's a shame the kids are suffering also. Anyone up to this challenge? If so, let me know and I'll pass it along.

I don't know the details but yeah, it appears she had to work at this. Then again, there *could* be another explanation. And if she does have that preference, why doesn't she exploit it now? She must know she would be pursed by the black men involved in MOB. Then again, maybe she doesn't.

I dunno Doc, she did make her own bed and is now laying in it. But that doesn't mean she deserves any less than the rest of them. (or us) Race is just another example (one of dozens) that proves God has a sense of humor. I mean come on, He makes us in several colors but the predominant is black and white? There *has* to be a reason He did that and if it's what I assume, we have failed miserably at it.

I am not sure about that. Are there many black men pursuing MOB from the FSU? We have heard that as a group they (FSU) women are prone to preferring Caucasian men. There might not be that many black men seeking FSU women. I wonder how many guys here are of dark skinned races?

We are in total agreement here and I wish her the best. People come to inappropriate conclusions all the time about other individuals and issues based upon correlating past experience to this new person or event. I am no exception. It is a normal protection mechanism that is not likely to go away none too soon I am afraid as it does serve a purpose but, not without cost I will admit.

Hey it does not mater what I know or understand as I am only one in a world of millions. I only call it as I see it relative to this mass of humanity. You have to respect what other people think and respond if you are going to survive your experience on planet Earth with less trauma.

I don't know why, we have to be so milque-toast on this subject. We happen to be looking for a white wife, from the FSU. I, personally, want white (European) children. Why, do we have to apologize for this desire? I'm sorry, this gal was shaggin' Nigerian "diplomats" yet, she has knowledge of her country's cultural mores, and her actions = results.

Maybe LP or Yoe, should illuminate us; and adopt, their former "friends of Che, Mandela & Ho etall..."

I, for one, am looking for a gal who loves her European/Russian culture and desires continuity.
