Russian Women?

Is it ture that Russian women have the "Home Maker" values that very few American women have?  Is their any down sides to them vs American women?

What is a good web site to look for Russian women?  I am going to try getmarriednow.com           (any recomendations)

They remind me of "The Women of Novosibirsk".  That agency would post profiles of lots of young 18 to 21 year old women and looked strictly like a way to get men there to spend money on strippers.  You're the Novosibirsk expert, which agency did you use when you went there?

They have 6 women under 25 and you can't select 2 of them.  I recognize 2 of the women from other sites.  This is the smallest agency I've seen yet.

Nope, not joking.  I've met most of them too.  (The older ladies are a riot too... and good looking).

This agency shares office space with a computer service company... btw, one of the two that you can't select on the under 25 page was my first interpreter Tanya - (one with the big 80 teeth beautiful smile).  She's not around much anymore.  

Last thing, every one of these ladies you'll also find on the major sites such as ec, match.gag/whatever's free, (as well as my fiance still on ec.. I'm not even going to worry about that one for now).

Was over a year ago, and the way I read their site, was it said that my membership paid for translated emails to and from...

What I received from Lilia after inquiry,was that one page costs $$ to the lady and etc ad-nauseum.  I asked for clarification and Lilia never emailed me back after that.  I even tried to get "my" rw to go to this particular agency at the time (back in sept/oct) to take advantage of this, and I got flamed big time because she knew these people, and didn't want anything to do with them.

Heart break because I was a newbie and didn't know "sht" after 3 months writing then?  No.  Heart break because I was disillusioned about honesty of foreign agencies?  Yes.

Be careful what you pay for.  That site I paid over 120 bucks to use but never even got the opportunity to use it for what I THOUGHT it was supposed to be.

No biggie.  Some guys have a freakin cow about a five dollar email translation expense, then go porkering around the fsu to the tune of $200-300 a day... and end up with nothing.  And they still complain because it wasn't as easy as they thought.  

There is no easy way, and mistakes aren't cheap.

If guys think that mistakes are expensive in the FSU search... they ought to try divorcing an AW sometime! Talk about not cheap!

It's all a matter of perspective. It cost me a few thousand dollars in my search to find Victoria.

Expensive? yes.

I cannot even GUESS how much I spent on AWs in a similar amount of time though... So, it is all relative...

Fortunate. Assuming, of course, it all works out in the long run (and I hope it will).

I've long maintained that people should adopt the attitude towards this process that it is little different than pursuing a woman in their own 'back yard' - except that the geography necessarily involves travel and expense. Those expenses should not be trivialized as it is (IMHO) shameful for guys to fail to recognize the costs involved AFTER they have started the process and made contact and then decide they cannot support it. I've seen it happen often - and the girls pay a heavy toll in emotional investment in guys that never make good on their initial promises (even just to visit). It is IMHO, one of the reasons we see some women turn to scamming. They feel they've been hurt by these insincere and game-playing western men - why not play some games of their own?

I'm not sure that behind every scammer there is a woman who has been jilted by the American who never came over...

HOWEVER... I do agree with you that you need to count the costs. And they certainly don't end when you find the lady!

I am spending quite a lot getting all of the paperwork and translations, and then of course, there will be the three plane tickets from Warsaw... plus other expenses once they get here...

Let me quote from the wisest person I have ever read:

If you wish to know find the nearest university and go to Eastern European culture meetings. Learn from your own experiences.

Brian,

This board has been plagued with more than it's fair share of trolls and nay-sayers who come on the board, ask seemingly innocent questions, and then suck a bunch of guys into a senseless debate.

Now, I am not accusing you of doing that - BUT - you list absolutely no personal information in your Profile and you ask questions that could be answered with only a few minutes of reviewing the archives.

Please don't be discouraged by my post - but at the same time, please recognize that people here would like to get to know you a bit before offering anything that you could not get via a thorough review of the archives. And as 'Bobby Orr' said - take a long hard look through the archives and then come back and ask your questions. You'll be surprised at the quality responses you will receive.
