This comes to me from a person in Kherson who used to own an agency:

Dear Sirs,
I ask to assist in search of my friend - pilot for airlines in Dallas.
His name is Bob Jones (Robert J. Jones Jr.)
Date of his birth - July 19,1948.
Please, give to him my letter and my contact e-mail address.

....than anyone else can. I can provide Jack his address and maybe you can find his phone number or write him.

I'm not sure its even the right guy but the data sure fits. A former colleague of mine in the DOJ tells me there is only one guy in the TSA database who matches up. (The new TSA keeps all pilots crossed referenced from the FAA databases since the events of last Sept.)

The middle initial and "jr" were the key, as well as him being listed as the only one holding the credentials needed for the job. I'll send it to Jack, after that about all I can do is check company records to see if he works for us. I'll check with my former employer also. He may fly for them (they're based in Texas), but that doesn't mean much as he may be based with another carrier elsewhere and commute from his home in Texas.

The home address should be valid though, we are required by law to keep the government informed of it.

Griffin,

  I received the information LP sent. Called information trying to get a phone number for this guy, there was none. I did however find a phone number for a guy with this name in another city and left a message on the answering machine. As of this morning no reply. If it is the right number maybe he is out of town and he will reply in a few days.

If you would like, I can dust off my refence librarian skills and maybe find a phone number in a city directory or something like that: unlisted numbers sometimes show up in places like that.

Griffin, LP was able to get me an address. I can e-mail it to the address you listed above. Do you know anything about this e-mail address? Looks like it could be an e-mail address for an agency. Does the lady have a private e-mail address?

This was the email address of an agency but now it is only the woman who used to own the agency using it.  I will send you the original email I got from her, which included the note I posted.

This Taya sounds like good woman. She discoverd the agency was possiable scam and is trying to protect this guy.

I don't think I know this Robert Jones but will look. Taya sounds like she might be the type of lady I like to have on my site if she is interested Griffin.
