No problem Brian,  Send me your email and I will send my phone number if you want to call me (I would rather do it by phone as I am not the fastest typist in the world and there is a LOT of stuff!)..
I just know there are two schools of thought about all this-Sending the very minimum and sending everything and the kitchen sink..  I opted for the latter because I have heard from a lot of guys that it does save time..

I know exactly what you're saying about sending in everything - with the two schools of thought.

Hey Brian-

When I filed the K1 papers for my wife (then fiancee) I believe the only original copies I sent were the avidavit of support that had to be notorized.  I think you can just xerox the signed copies you brought back and get your application underway.  The document you mentioned that needed to be translated into English will be necessary for the interview in Moscow or Warsaw but not for the K1 I believe.  I know there is a new form they have added since I did this but I don't think that affects what i just told you.  In fact, it took so long for my wife's K1 to get processed, she had to get marriage certifications and police checks and the like redone because they actually expire after a number of months.  Hope this helps.
