I know there is a social going on and I would like some of these married guys that read on this message board to post some question which they asked their potential wife.

Aside from the obvious question - what do you like to do?

What are some other leading questions that will get a thoughful response?  Come on guys... think...  What did you ask your lady?

Try asking if she believes in fate or does she believe that we make our own destiny.

It can make for some interesting conversation.  I personally found that most of the girls I met rather believe in fate.

I like follow up questions because sometimes interesting things sometime leak out.  For example, when aske why she prefers ballet to opera, she might respond that she used to dance ballet!

I have to admit when I went to the social, I really didn't have a clue what to ask.

The language barrier didn't help either.

But seems like us guys should atleast come up with some sort of a checklist.  Put it down on paper or on a PDA, so you do a carefull analyst of what your feeling...

A PDA would be helpful also since you can get that online dictionary for those trouble some words.

Bill,
After as many conversations as Lena and I had, we covered everything from soup to nuts.
