UPDATE: I have placed an Add in two different newspapers one in Luganks and one in Kiev.  Today the responses from the Add in Kiev are starting to come in. (Threw E-mail) Total response from Lugansk was 10 women.  Two of them were writing threw some agency it was easy to tell.  I wrote them back and said I would be happy to correspond with them if they wrote me direct, and that they could write it in Russian if they would like.  I always like to write back and tell them that I have been to their city; I think it helps and they are always real surprised to read that.  Well I think I have my hands full with writing to all these women now days.  I wish I would have known to do this a year and a half ago it would have saved me allot of money and time.  Live and learn that is why I am posting this for the new guys.  Remember don’t pay over $25 for your news paper adds (Total and that is for two cities) if you want to learn how to do that then just E-mail me anytime.

is absolutely 100% true.  That you can run your own ad for the price he paid---translation,  photo...the whole sheebang!  He is right about that and you should not doubt him.  In that.  How do I know???  I told him where to go to do it.  He took the info and ran with the ball.  Now,  certainly I cannot vouch for the quality of the replies Ryan will receive,  but....cut the kid a little slack...he gets a little excited about all this stuff.  But,  you can run your own ads for about $13 Bucks each.  And I am quite surprised you guys know nothing about it.  This is very easy stuff.  Gentlemen,  start your search engines.

Tim,

I think a lot here know about the ads. Jack from FirstDream has mentioned this approach several times.

Me, personally, I do not like to tell women I am not interested. If I choose there will be less of that. Everyone to his own.

However, I might change my mind and try such at some future point.

... in response to Re: I hate to tell you guys this,  But R..., posted by thesearch on Jan 25, 2002

....Ryan's "methods" and info may be new to him but it's old hat for others. I've been involved in this off and on for two years and have never used an agency, not a single time. I placed ads two years ago all over Ukraine and Russia for peanuts, so the cheap ad thing is nothing new, just most guys seem to prefer agencies. (I did "use" an agency in South Africa, of all places, to post these ads.)

I received tons of responses from those ads and they continued to come in for a year after because agencies pick them up and use them.

My best prospects are from those ads and the dozens of blind contacts I've made on ICQ with R/U/W who were never actively "involved" with the MOB scene. In fact, these contacts continue to this day and have been a gold mine when it comes to getting the truth about what these women's first priority really is. (I'll give ya a hint, it ain't a husband in most cases.)

(That reminds me. Jack, please email me, I know a beautiful young thing of 24 that needs some help finding a good guy. As much as she likes me, I'm not that stupid. She's on your site but I don't want to get involved without your permission. A nice gal, I've been talking with her for quite some time. She has a computer at home, speaks *very* good English and I would like to see her get a break.)

The fact that I'm still here is because there are so many good choices from using these methods that I have had a difficult time choosing.
That and I'm kinda busy with some of these "awful" A/W some men seeking R/W don't want anything to do with.

Fwiw, might as well keep rejecting them because from what they tell me, the feeling is mutual.

I thought that you had other sites and contacts?

It doesn't look as though AVISO allows photos? Or did I miss something?

Ryan,

If you have valid advice as to how you can place an ad for $25 or less... why don't you outline it in your post? I've never seen anyone offering the service for less than $75.

I sure would like to know how you manage gettign a translated ad, with a photo, in a Ukraine paper for $25...

Hey, guys...

Look, I knwo that Ryan has p!ssed off over half of the board...

But, save the flames for when he says something that deserves them.

If he posts that he placed a personal ad, and it is working for him... that's a valid post. If someone else had posted that, no one would have said a thing.

If you flame everything he says, even when what he says is valid, then you lose your credibility...

The newbies and lurkers who don't know the whole history will think you're just jerks who don't like the guy... is that really what you want to portray?

And name-calling begets name-calling.Lord knows there are times Ryan has said things that I have jumped on him, too. But, before you flame every single post... remember the marines saying:

"Is that hill worth dying for?"

Pick your battles...

Just a suggestion.

Let's put Ryan's results in their proper perspective.   Ryan claims he has only run these ads for a week or so and while the initial response that he claims to have received is indeed impressive, let's wait until the process runs its course before pronouncing this as an effective method.  Ryan's prior track record that has been set forth at length in prior posts does not support any reliance on his methods.  Certainly the results to date and the comments of others suggest that this is an effective way of generating initial contacts with the ladies.  Where Ryan takes it from here remains to be seen, and no one should rely on his initial results as gospel.  At this point they are, as another experienced poster observed a few days ago, another "premature ejaculation."

I agree chuck what happens from here is still to be seen; however, it is the response that I wanted to share with everyone here.  I feel that it was worth noting.  Many go the agency route and I feel this route is getting over used and the picking is minimal, maybe it is changing to other methods whether they be older method or new (ICQ Chat rooms) I feel the tide is changing. Remember Ukraine is about change little stays the same in this country.  Will now days anyway…

Why don't you post the information for all of us so that you don't have to respond to the numerous emails you are going to get for your sage advise?
