My wife ( who is a typical Russian ) refused my money offers and that was even after we met each other. She said ( after we became lovers )that the standard procedure among decent ladies is to not consider taking money unless you are lovers and have slept together. These kind of women have pride and only except the money as a result of feeling some sort of a true relationship.Offering money shows you care,but a good girl will refuse it. The money I offered her was so she could take a taxi to the metro every night instead of walking 20 minutes in the cold, but still she refused something so simple. Maybe I'm just lucky with the kind of lady I met, but now I understand what she means, and after learning this I would never send a girl money if she ask for it. ESPECIALLY if I've never met the girl in person!
