It works both ways. Who are you and what are you when you visit a foreign country and introduce yourself to someone?
Fortunately, my wife and I exceeded our imaginations and expectations. Each day is better !

Actually that was the first woman that I had met via the net and taken seriously. I quickly went back to my stance of "expect nothing, therefore anything good that comes from it is a bonus"

Lynn,
I learned my lesson here in America.  I dated a lot of women I "met" on the net.  The more experienced I became the less the internet played beyond the introduction.  I once was trapped for a weekend in Nashville with someone I knew at first sight was not for me.  Talk about uncomfortable!  I could only imagine the same scenareo in Russia.  When I "met" my wife (over the phone) I had your attitude with it all.  We became good phone buddies and when I went to meet her, I expected nothing more.  Good luck was with me and we had much more than just friendship in our future.  Of all the women I met this way, I would say that some were great gals, others were a total waste of my time, but one turned into the love of my life.

at least you take away the time needed for calculation, that is if she is trully not serious. But I prefer the acid test of a face to face encounter and have learned the hard way to follow my gut instinct if something doesn't seem right about the situation, no matter how good outside appearances are. And I would not consider bringing someone here without spending at least a week or so with her, preferably outside her comfort zone of friends and family.

I don't know if your evidence is conclusive.

Just because her first reply back is a boiler-plate doesn't mean that she in insincere. It may just mean that she's popular.

If she gets hundreds of emails, she very well may have a one or two letter form letter to send back, until she sees how serious the man is.

Not saying that BlackSea Singles ISN'T a scam... just saying that this behavior doesn't actually prove it...
