Look in the mirror dude.  Do you have a stamp on your forehead?  She saw you coming a mile away, and now your just an angry little boy!  You're just upset now, cool down, have a beer, watch a little football.  Once you've cooled down, send me your wife's name and have her e-mail me.  I'll have a ticket ready for her to pick up at the airport and you'll be done with this whole assorted affair.  All you'll need to do is file for divorce.  I'm sure she won't contest it or want anything further from you.  We have a very large Russian community here that I'll introduce her to.  It's obvious you're not happy in the relationship, so whats the big deal?  This will be painless and help you start the healing process so that you can start planning the next trip.  Maybe you should try Asia next time?  Be a man once in your life (or a least pretend that you're mature enough to be one)!

... in response to Here is my story, I'm not a Troll, posted by No more RW on Nov 24, 2001

On September 11th it was evening in Moscow when the tragedy happened and they announced about it on TV. Hundreds of Muscovites ran to the US Embassy and put flowers showing they grief together with American people. The next day there was just mountain of flowers at the US Embassy and I sincerely hope they showed it on American TV. For your information, Moscow is not Ukraine and flowers are not cheap here. Price of one rose is about $6. Also, they interviewed people in the street and ALL of them said that they were very sorry for the tradegy happened. I LIVE here and I don't know ANYBODY who thinks that Americans deserved what happened. But sure if you prefer to trust your source...

About dental care. Yes, we do have both free dental care as well as we have hundreds (!) of excellent (really excellent!) dental clinics where one has to pay. If a person doesn't take care of his teeth it's his own affair but not a reason to make generalization about the whole nation. Recently I was in California and I met one American man who obviously needed dental care. Shall I also start to make generalizations?

I would say that the vast majority of Russian people like Americans. If you wife doesn't like YOU it's not a reason to say that "Russian people do not like American people".

There is a nice saying in the Ukraine which sounds "Bachili ochi scho kupovali" and means that you saw what you were "buying"... As for complaining "after" it's a very childish thing. Dry tears and take a candy. Marriage to a RW, AW or any other woman is for adults and you need to grow up.

Regards,

Tootsie

The Russian/Ukrainians are inspite the economic crises very resolute and proud.  They have a strong sence and awareness or what is going on in the world.  They may be economically poor but they are very well eductated and socially aware...  The main problem is that the Cold War placed a barrier between the west and Russia/Ukraine and many in the west still do not understand or know about Russia/Ukraine culture. Hell I am still learning...  and what I have learnt impresses me...  Any relationship acorss cultural boundaries has its misunderstandings and difficulty,.  Just look at the post war migration of Italians now part of the mainstream...

Ok, it seems I'm caught with my pants down today. My source about the poll taken in Moscow is from my wifes Mama, she told my wife about the poll, and was shocked. I do not know where she knows of this poll, but I will find out and report back to the board.

Also, my wifes Mama said that after Sept 11th, people in Moscow were getting rid of their dollars, in fear of dollars losing their value. Is this true Tootsie?

If so, that is really funny, maybe you Moscowvites should learn that America is not just America, it is the World Empire, and we own the whole world, so our dollar isn't going to lose it's value anytime soon.

I like you too much to go any further Tootsie, I hope your stay in California was a pleasent one. Now it's time to defend myself from the Troll Catchers.

Bye

I assure you there were many selling the dollar after Sep 11, Inlcuding American companies/individuals.  The US Dollar is over valued and in many cases a barrier to economic growth in the US... Now if the US dollar is on a dive then hell who would not sell it....  this is the aim of the market ... the capitalist system...  for every winner there must be a looser somewhere...  yin and yang.. balance...

we own the world? Wow - that is why one pathetic man and a band of terrorists can bring such a powerful country to it's knees economically. Man has your pride gotten you head in the ozone layer. By the way my car proudly carries an American flag that proudly flaps as I drive.

The fact that you stay around to help those of us who have not arrived is admirable. Most simply would not do that.

What country are you refering to? Certainly not the USA, our economy is so strong right now it's an absurd joke. You've been watching too much TV, look around you, people starving on the streets where you live? Everybody out of work that you know?

Oh I see, your 401k has been hit hard and now you think we have been bought to our knees, right? Don't worry, your 401k will be right back to where it was after the first of the year, and you can take that to the bank with you.

There is a lot more damage than you realize.

Yes we will recover, but the financial damage created that was more created by fearful Americans than Osama B.L. is quite staggering.

This is about a fearful people.

Osama said watch what I will do and how I will make the American people puppets with me being the puppeteer.

I am a proud American but fact is fact.

Wow, now I understand the source! You know I also have a mom who is retired and likes to discuss political events with other babushkas...

Yes, the info is right and on September 11th some mad people started to get rid of dollars... Some banks used the situation and took dollars for 15 Rbls. instead of 30... It was funny...

My stay in California was great and I hope to go back somewhere in January... I've just got my next multiple US visa...

Good luck to you,

Tootsie

Perhaps I could meet with you on your next visit to the USA? We could get together and I'll show you how us Americans really have a good time.

Plus I could sing my new Russian song to you,

"one old lady had,
two funny gooses,
one was white,
one was grey,
two funny gooses"

Take care Tootsie.
