I don't agree with much that Bill O'Reilly says on his show but I do agree that people should say "Merry Christmas" without worrying about being politically correct.

By the way Patrick, Is your last name O'Reilly? hehehe!

But thanks to my Union, I'll be spending even more time in Cali next year;-)

It really isn't all that easy to pigeon hole someone as either left or right as some believe.

I'm with Bill O'Reilly on a few other points also. I'm against the death penalty and abortion. I also don't believe in same sex marriages and I'm about as far left as you can get.

You are right....I too do not believe in abortion.  I am for the death penalty.  I am for legalized marijuana.

I do not care for same sex marriages.

However I am Libertarian.  What can I say.....I went to college and I have been in business for my self for over thirty years.

So I can not side with the left wing socialists.

I didn't think McCarthyism still existed. hehehe!

Anyway I think your line of reasoning helps explain why third world democracies tend to assassinate union leaders.

Ohhh cheap shot!  My turn.

You said you were as left as you can be.  That equates to socialism.  Unions are the bastions of socialism.

Unions are aliened with communism and socialism throughout the world.   Maybe they do not teach that in public schools. But it is true.

Maybe your line of reasoning explains why you have never passed on your genetic material.

Hehehe!

I see you went to the escuela de las americas. hehehe!

Have it your way. If I'm a socialist than so are New York city firemen and police officers. They have unions also.

I have actually passed a lot of genetic material in my day. hehehe!

But, I only have one child that I know of... well... I wouldn't exactly call him a child. He has got to be about 24 years old by now.

Hey amigo,

I am just having fun with you.  You know I mean no harm.  But I doubt you would find very many cops or fireman who are left wing.  The might be union but they are almost always right to center.  Mailmen on the other hand are always very pro union.

Funny that you mention the School of the Americas.  I did teach there for a few months.  Mostly classes on torture and murdering innocent civilians.

LOL....

You forgot to mention assassinating union leaders in south american countries as a way of supposedly curbing the growth of Communism during the cold war.

You are right about one thing. They don't teach this stuff in public schools.

"Unions are aliened with communism and socialism throughout the world."

I hope you don't think you are the one that thought up that propaganda. One of the easiest ways to get killed in South America to this very day is to become a union leader.

The goal of the School of the Americas was to teach South American countries how to stop communism by any means necessary.

The only people who are pro union these days are those IN unions, and their families. Unions, like Free Press, were necessary back in the day. Today, union workers are a bunch of lazy, overpaid slobs who have squeezed the system dry. Look out on any road under construction for example. It is rare to see 3 out of 10 workers actually doing work. The vast majority with their vast pot bellies are hanging out in, or around their new pickup trucks scratching themselves. My private crew could do twice the work with half the men. We can only imagine what DOESN'T go on inside The Big Three plants. The supervisor may say, "put down that bag of donuts and get your fat ass to work!". But the "union man" need only cry, "union!". Unions are an abusive, exploitive, siphoning, economic enigma. They need be, and will be dismantled.
