Zeb - I haven't judged you.  All I did was post a few things you left out.  If they are all lies then say so.

A gentleman knows when it is time to keep quiet and let old wounds heal.

Asking him to say all the things Helen have told you  are lies will result to nothing but bring back the animosity and the pain.

It is time to move on and start living again....forgetting and maybe, just maybe....forgiving.

I just could not keep quiet THIS time.... so pls. forgive my intrusion.  *S*

...and it's nice to see you posting here again. None of us home behind our keyboards can know the feelings, emotions and motivations of two individuals in an intimate relationship, and passing along third party gossip strikes me as both inappropriate and shallow.

Zebson,

I was stunned too about this post.  Although I must admit I knew neither you or Helen, I think I know a rat when I smell one.  I sensed that from what you said about Helen.

First, I'd like to assume that Bear is plain and simply gullible.  I think he's a fried to all of us, and to think that he might have deliberately kicked you in the teeth for being the "bad guy" or "mistreating" Helen.  Man, it shows how she can charm just about anybody.  It's a learned, well crafted skill employed by a proportion of Filipinas, to varying degrees, in order to get places.  Unfortunately you got entangled with one of them.  Just be glad it's someone like Bear whom she convinced, and not the players in America's criminal/justice and civil judicial systems like I bet she was planning to do just before you nipped her multiple-stage scam in the bud before it got to ruin the rest of your life.

You're alot more fortunate than Timothy Blackwell.  Was Susana Blackwell simply a poor, sweet, and innocent victim murdered at the hands of a cruel, tyrannical husband?  For those that really believe that, think again.  What was the real motive behind the murder of Blackwell and her friends?  A conspiracy in which he was supposedly defenseless and felt he had nothing left to lose.  Timothy was too emotional and blew away all his chances for justice, even if it meant appealing his domestic abuse case 10 to 15 years down the road, and the party being over then for Susana Blackwell.  You know, for Helen, instead of kicking herself that she got caught in the act before she succeeded, she ought to consider herself lucky, that given what she attempted to do, she's alive.  After what I've read and heard about Timothy Blackwell (including having talked to a Filipino-American friend who lived in the Seattle area when all this happened), I don't believe at all that Timothy laid a hand on Susana when she was living with him.  I think it was made-up and embellished with the facade of sweetness and innocence.  It must have been a very terrible experience for Timothy Blackwell to come home from work one day to be arrested and find out he had all those things pending against him that he never did.  According to the jury, the real motive for the murder was when he found out Susana was pregnant with another man's baby, and he had to come face-to-face with her and her friends at the court for the final divorce proceedings.

Here's something else to think about.  One of the murder counts against Timothy Blackwell was the death of Susana Blackwell's unborn fetus in the line of fire.  Yet, suppose Susana Blackwell (in different circumstances) decided to have an abortion.  If the fetus was killed at the will of Susana Blackwell, then that would not have been murder.

Zebson, after what you've been through, you're a lucky man to have the opportunity to rebuild your life.  You ought to be proud of yourself that you handled things the way you did, given your situation.  People may like to take stabs, but this sort of thing could happen to anybody, especially a male in persuit of a relationship with a foreign woman.

Keep your chin up.

- Kevin

Nobody does it better!  Sally's coming up on final AOS and if she suddenly turns into a gold-digger I want YOU to do the trashing of her, because your're Number 1 in my book.  Even humabdos can't match that kind of talent Shocked)

Welcome back my friend,

Ya know Kevin.  Its good to see you posting here again.  Maybe everyone will be more on your side now.  Pain has to come to an end for everyone, not just Zebson.  Everyone on this board that I know of has been through some serious relationship problems and I am sure if you heard only my "ex's" point of view I'd seem pretty evil also.  One-sided stories do that.  For over 20 years now I have know 10's of Asian American marriages and until this year I had only known two with marrital problems and only one of those ended in a divorce.  I was very surprised and all the recent problems posted by guys like you and Humabdos.  So I thought it only fair that more info be given so that others here do not claim that Filipinas are only Golddiggers and Green(Pink) Card Sharks when it might just be a one-sided opinion.  Like I said I only posted what was "strangely" left out.

I am really glad I took time out and had the great interest to know about your happy reunion with your Honey......thank you, Bear...I never knew there was such a thing mentioned before as a Pink card shark.

Your post was indeed an eye opener for all of us.  Thank you and all the best in your and Honey's life.  Goodbye.

But Helen seems to have done okay for herself.  Look at it.....it's been just a few months ago that she left the USA, and already, she's engaged and seeking a visa to Holland.

Yeah....that's pretty fast.

And....as Bear says....it all happened after she went back to the Phils.

Hey Zeb....Does Helen know a lady in Manila named Vivian? (LOL)
