Hi,

I have been to Panama City a couple of times.  I like the place.  It is quite hot and humid.  It is fairly cheap these days, no need to exchange money, the dollar is basically the currency.  The locals are very friendly to Americans.  All those years with the Americans running the canal I suspect. A fair number of people speak English, but you will need you Spanish for most of the women.

I have met some very attractive women in Panama. In fact, one of the most attractive latinas I have ever dated was from Panama.  I still email a few of them.  It is always dangerous to generalize, but the women tend to be darker skinned.  There is a strong Chinese background in some of the women.  There are a fair number Colombian women who have fled to Panama also.  I have been told the best looking women come from the province of Chiriqui.  I tend to agree.  The ones I know are far less materialist than your typical Cali sweetie.  However, I would say on average, the Cali girls are better looking.

The disco in the Hotel Panama in Panama City is a good place to go dancing and check out the local talent.  I would encourage a visit.

I don't know of any agencies-I suppose there are some, but not to the industrial level of Cali. Wife potential is certainly there. More Americanized, less bare midriffs than Columbia. The ladies, to my tastes, are great. As good as Cali (flame war initiated). To my tastes a bit better. I don't work for TLC, but you should consider the upcoming tour the end of July/beg Aug. Best tour I've been on. Much more interesting city than Cali. Better clubs, less hassle overall. Better stores, dollar currency. Spanish is still way useful. GO!

None of the Panama reports we had before were that glowing or even very possitive.And nobody,untill now,said the women were even close to Cali quality.Your post sounds a bit like an advertisement in that it is so different from other Panama posts we have had.One guy who posts on latin women list did the tour and found the women to be very unreceptive,even rude.He was wondering aloud if his being black had anything to do with the poor reception.
But Panama sure does have some advantages over Colombia.I think its much safer and there is some prime beach front and island property at good prices.We just never,to my memory,had a good woman report from there.
But we could sure use some,if they are for real.

I don't have any particular ax to grind one way or another. I've had a great time in all of these places and found the women all receptive to a guy who is friendly and respectful. As far as the black gentlemen, the 2 that went on the same PC tour as me seemed to do really well. Of course not all guys who go on tours or go to agencies are equally adept at this endevour. And I sense less urgency to leave their homes, on the whole, from the Panamanians than the Calenas. Yes, the Calenas are lovely and accepting, but no more so than I've experienced elsewhere. Just more of a buyer's market there, imho. I'll be returning to PC soon and I'll file a report.

I was wondering when someone would comment on Panama in fact I wonder why we haven't heard of any agencies there. TLC has been going there for years. I dated two women there briefly in 1995.
