My fiancee and I will be arriving in Miami, with her entering on a K-1 visa.  My question is can she accompany me in the Immigration line for US citizens/permanent residents or should she use the other line?

Yes... El Dialbo is correct. When I was comming back from Colombia a few months ago I asked the customs officer that exact question. He said that you could but that she would need to go to the interview area after, which is just behind the customs booths in Miami. I don't think you can go with her there. I figure you will save an hour or more waiting on line doing it this way. Good luck

Craig! Diablo!  A clarification please.  Yes as to what?  What line?  Your responses could apply to either of the two situations presented.  Thank you for your support.

The Line you must wait on to clear customs...to make sure you have the authority to proceed into the United States ... meaning passport or in her case the visa stamp from the American embassy in Bogota on her colombian passport

We should both use the US citizen/permanent resident line.

Don't worry about it, just take her with you in the U.S. citizen line.  I escorted my friend's wife in this way and they said nothing.  If they do say something plead ignorance but it's very unlikely they will.  In either case, you are only looking at another 15 minutes or so in the non U.S. line so no big deal either way.
