I will buy 4000 girls on the agency books.And I would bet no more 40 (maybe 20)gringos in town at any one time shopping.Thats 100 to one.Yes 100 -200 to one.Forget population statistics,look at agency statistics.
Some flashy girls with sexy pictures do get alot of attention,but most girls get none.My wife had been at the agency 8 months and I was her first interview.And she is way better than anybody I could possibly hope to get here.Guys are always trying to hit on her in the grocery store here.
As good as your report is it really understates the opportunities.You really didn't have enough time and didn't get extremely lucky.
Through all of our bickering of late new guys may be missing the point.There are more pretty women than you know what to do with and they are mostly all interested in you.
Its like nothing you have probably ever done.Why delay the experience of a lifetime?
Think Airplane guys,next week.You waiting to get older first?

You know sometimes, it is just lucky timing of the trip that you find the right girl, one trip wonders do happen and are for real lasting relationships.

Wiz You are absolutley right on that one. My wife is very beautiful and was with an agency for about 6 months when we met. I was only her 3rd interview ever. Living in the states now she gets plenty of attention. (sometimes to much LOL)I met a few very pretty girls in CaLI who never even got 1 interview. The real knockout girls were getting all the attention. My wife like alot of the other girls is the "sweet" pretty not the drop dead bombshell sexy type alot of guys covet.
I think that if you want a girl who is very beautiful and sweet then Cali has alot to offer. If you just want the hottest sexiest girl you can get you will probably be talking to girls who have been interviewed by a hundred other gringos and can afford to be very picky.

Again thanks for the trip report.I  always find them interesting and I already know what its like down there.For guys on the fence they can be very motivational,as in just get your butt on that plane.Its a whole other world there.You described it well but sometimes its even more exciting,depending on who you meet.
I would suggest taking 2 weeks for your trip if you can.It takes a while to get started and then you are usually not ready to leave.But one of our most famous posters,Hoda, was there 3 days on his first trip.So if thats all you can do I would do it.Of course he was back pretty soon for alot more time.He met his wife in that three days although they waited almost 3 years to marry.
The other thing I think you are correct about most girls is the sweetness.For all of the bad stories we hear most of these girls are sweet and honest.Also you mentioned some not looking like their pictures.Some look better so dig deep in those books.You said several girls had their first interview with you.This is common,there are way more girls than gringos.A girl like that is not likely to be jaded or spoiled.
Again a evaluation of the agency you used would be helpfull,alot of guys are trying to decide where to go.
It really is a happy hunting ground down there,you just scratched the surface.
I think it is very important that a guy maximise his chances of success so he doesn't get discouraged and quit.Unless you got months and speak spanish I would forget the out of the way places and just go to Cali.I think Colombia is the place and Cali is the city to maximise your chances.
Again thanks for the report.Sounds like you are hooked.I knew within 2 days I would keep going there untill I found my lady,which happened day four.

Hey Pete...

I know I've just scratched the surface in Cali and I can't wait to go back... I'm hooked... I almost called my lawyer and told him to sell everything, then send money cause I'm not coming back... lol...

My trip had it's ups and downs... Really didn't have enough time to get close to any one girl and spend time with her... My next trip will be different... After playing the "dating game" with AW's for so long it's really nice to be able to meet beautiful, sweet girls who are truly interested in a REAL relationship...

It is a shame that Colombia is having such a hard time politically as the people are so friendly and open... I know I may be looking through rose colored glasses right now but that was my experience...

As far as the agency, Latin-Internet or the Villa in Ciudad Jardin... These folks are very helpfull and seem genuinely interested in the success of their clients... Sol, Maria Christina and Hector all went out their way to make sure that I had a good experience... When my number 1 girl didn't show up for her date and didn't call, they went ballistic... I paid full boat for the membership and stay so this recommendation is motivated only by my good experience...

I plan to visit a few other agencies on my return... Yes, I am already interested in 4 girls, but I don't want to be short-sighted about the process... I am not going to take advantage of anyone but I want to leave my options open...  Now that I know the quality of ladies that are in Cali I want to take my time and find the right girl for me...

To you guys who are sitting on the fence, GET ON A PLANE AND JUST GO... You won't be disappointed... I can't believe I just said that because I was the one voicing caution only a month ago...

I did the same thing as you my 1st trip Wizard.  I wasn't sure if I was going to like it down there or not, so I only booked a flight for 5 days.  My business was slow after 9/11 so I just didn't come back for a month.  After 5 days, things were just starting to get going.  It took me at least 3-4 days to start relaxing and really enjoying my dates.  I didn't get stood up down there, but I did have holes in my schedule.  The wrath of Margareth would come down on the girls that no showed, so this didn't happen that often in that agency.   The agency was a fun place to hang out, so I really didn't get bored much.  One of the problems I had was that the staff wanted to book my dates 1 every hour.  This was way too much for me and sometimes my next date was already waiting for my while I talked with my current date.  This made me really crazy and uncomfortable.
I found my limit was about 3 dates a day.  More then that and it just wasn't fun.  And I wanted the experience to be fun.

It's really a numbers game meeting the right one, and odds have it that it is going to take you a week or so to really meet someone that clicks.  If you are only there for a week, then you have to return just after you meet the one you really like.  I realize that not all guys have this luxury, but I think 2 weeks should be the minimum.  This month off from my business was expensive but I considered it an investment into my future happiness.  

My wife and I are very happy now and things are getting better by the day.

Hey Wayne,

I am happy that you found your novia in Cali... I think you are right in that the investment in time reaps rewards... It's very difficult to build any type of relationship one week at a time over the course of months...

Can you email directly??? I have a few questions about the agency that you used... I considered visiting Margareth first but changed my mind...
