I think we pay $2.40 a minute (plus we pay the long distance toll) for having our 911 calls (fire, ambulance, police) translated. Spanish and English are handled in house, other languages are '3-wayed' via a service in California. $1.50 sounds reasonable.

You should check into 3-way bilingual operator assisted calls to make a comparison.  It may turn out to really be economical after all, though until you check, you'll have no basis for comparison.

... in response to - latineuro - is it for real? Experience..., posted by Canadian Guy 31 on Aug 14, 2001

all the women are real, just not available

in the brazil section numbers 1 to 263 are very old
some of those women are married, and a lot are tired of getting letters and never having guys show up

i visited brazil in July and was able to meet some of the women, some i was not able to.  Some telephone numbers are wrong and some of them already have boyfriends.

because at least 95% of the guys who write never visit, latin Euro really has no incentive to remove the women who have moved or gotten married

one woman said she has received over 2000 letters, and 5 visits
another woman had received over 400 letters and she said i was the first guy to ever vist her (B122), her sister (B137) said she received over 500 letters and no one has ever come to visit her

contrary to the profiles, most of the women do not speak english, i took a few of the women i met to an internet cafe and showed them thier pics and profiles.  They did not write the profiles and some of the information is erroneous.

I believe that the profiles are intentionally vague to generate more sales.  There is no location information (and Brazil is about geographically the same size as the US) and there is no information about number of children.  I have seen no other agency selling addresses with such vague information.

I have probably been in contact with about 25 women from the site, all where Email nice, probably 8-10 even telephoned me, there were a large number of single mothers, only one woman asked for me to send cash in her first letter, she even sent me her bank routing numbers to make it easy on me!!!

In rio i spoke to 2 women, but could not match schedules to meet, in aracaju i met b122 and b137, they are sisters, In fortaleza i talked to 2 women via telephone, but could not arrange meeting times, in Sao Paulo i met 2 women and talked on the phone with 3 others

one really nice woman took a 5 hour busride at 12:30 am to meet me, and spent her 23rd birthday with me in Sao Paulo

those addresses in that section are AT LEAST a year old

i bought some of them in December. later a friend told me they were old then.  Now some of those women are still available and looking, b122, b137, b252 for sure, as i met them, but a lot are not

you will find a lot of bad addys and phone numbers, as women have moved, or they have moved out of their parents house, etc, etc

i've also noticed this trick, some women who used to be in that section have beem moved up, to higher numbered pages, so that they look new

in the latin section, entire pages have been renumbered so that they look new

remember what another guy said, his girlfriend sent in pics, but they did not appear on the website for a year,  that is why new women who are posted may already have boyfriends, the gap in time time will make some of the new listings worthless

so like i said, make sure you get the price down to $1 per addy, otherwise its probably a waste

Yes, they are for real.  I ordered some addresses from them a few weeks ago.  I completed the online order form.  Paid with a credit card.  Within less than 24hrs, they emailed me the addresses of the females I requested.  Almost all of the addresses included telephone numbers with them.   Only two or three included an email address in additioal to the address.  Give it try.  I am sure you will be pleased.

I will later post how things went when I start receiving responses to my letters.  Take care!!!

Hey yc, glad to hear that you got your letters sent.  My impression is that many of the women may be able to get an email account and access it from work, or from an internet place in a local shopping mall.  So you might be getting a few more emails than expected, if you included your email address.  (This is refering to Brazil, I'm not sure about other countries)

Hey, they are for real.  Just wait till you go there and meet some of the people you are writing to.  You will be very pleased with it.

The positives of Latin Euro, good service, not that expensive, many choices.

The negatives, information may be obsolete (several years out of date), no real screening to know if the woman is serious or curious, very little information provided to know if you want to write someone.

But bottom line, they, from my experience, are legit.

And, yes, many beautiful women in Brazil (that's where I went).  I'd imagine you'd get the same comments from people that have visited other countries too.

i used latin euro and recieved letters from about 10 girls in brazil and 2 in colombia. i think some of the girls on there web may very well be models or girls that have long since left the organization ....however alot of them are for real im in contact with several girls right now from that company.
