Lima bound !!

I finally did it, I`m going to Lima next week to see my girl. My very first trip to SA...wish me luck I will need it.

Good Luck and be safe, overall considered much safer than Colombia, no real terrorist or cartel violence in Lima these days. Just watch out for the pickpockets, etc, on the streets, especially if you go downtown. Best to be with your girl or some local person as much as possible, although I did a few things alone in Miraflores and felt very safe. The main square downtown is worth seeing, the old buldings, also be sure you go to Barranco on the ocean. Also several sets of ruins in or near the city if you don't have time to travel outside Lima. By the way, if you didn't already know, their most famous delicacy is "ceviche", containing RAW FISH, LOL. My girl had mercy on me, didn't make me.
