Hi,

I'm starting to make plans for a trip to Bogota late September. Can anyone recommend a safe hotel in a good neighborhood at a good price? I imagine I should be able to find one for $50/night. Am I off base with my price guesstimate?

Thanks,
Sol

p.s. Orbitz.com is a nice web-site for finding good prices on plane tickets. I found, for example, a number of round trip flights from the San Francisco Bay Area to Bogota in late September for a tad over $500.

I stayed at Suite Chico for 2 weeks. The rooms were very reasonable, under 50 dollars, the nieghoorhood was very safe, good security, breakfast was included daily, food was very good. You will be within walking distance of Unicentro Mall and other shopping. They were very helpful with transportation. If you write me off list I can give you some contacts for reliable transportation.

Thanks Ruben,

I assume that Charlie will happily let me stay at the B&B even if I don't use their services? Am I right?

Thanks,
Sol
