Hi Matt,

The government confiscated my 1 square inch of land that I purchased in the early 1960's from a cereal box, because of back taxes I owed. ;o)))

Where was your square inch Dave? Mine was in Alaska, I think near some place called Prudhoe Bay or something like that. You mean we were supposed to pay taxes on that??? Oh Crap!

Well, at least my deed was free with the cereal. You had to pay for yours? Double Oh Crap!!

Hey Ray,

I think mine was in the same area of Alaska. Come to think of it, my land was free too. They neglected to tell us that we had to pay taxes. We probably would have owed them a dollar by now. ROFLMAOPIMP!

Dave you would owe $1 in the accumulated taxes and another $50,000 in penalties. At least that is how the IRS usually works. It was a farce from the beginning the government set everybody up with this free land so when today they have tax shortages and huge deficits they will come after you for being deliquents. That is my conspiracy for the day!

Hey Dave you should change your address to Alaska if you still have it. Alaskans get money from the government. It is part of the oil annuity or something like that. This year I think each citizen got an $1100 check. You think you can put a mailbox on your acreage?

Hi Stefang,

ROFLMAO! Maybe Ray and I can claim lots next to each other, then share a small mailbox standing upright. LOL

Re. Small mailbox

I was at Home Despot yesterday and I asked this guy if they had any small mailboxes that would fit a 2" x 1" footprint. He started laughing so hard he tripped and fell over a manure spreader and almost killed himself. I took that as a "no", so I think we're S.O.L. on the small mailbox unless you can find something out there in your neck of the woods.

OBTW, the local Filipino Supermarket has Chippy Corn Chips and Jack & Jill Cheese Curls on sale again for $.50 a bag. Also, a good buy on San Miguel in the 17-oz King Cans for $5.99/6-pack. Still no purple tabos though :-(

Hey Ray,

We may have to put our mailbox on a long pole and use carrier pigeon. ;o)))

That's a good deal on Chippy! I'm all out. My wife really likes the Nong Shim Shrimp Flavored Cracker from Korea. I also need some Sarsi. I will be making the trip (2 blocks) to the sari-sari tomorrow.

Dave,

You probably would have had to step on my inch to get to your inch. I wonder if the pipeline runs across our land? That's probably why the bastards confiscated it, don't you think?
