or Warsaw since July 22nd?

I had seen a news release by the State Department that they were releasing 10,000 visas and another that we could expect a 30 day wait after the interview, but I still haven't heard of anyone actually getting a Visa.

cman99, whose fiancee successfully got the visa in Moscow posted a followup.  This is his post:

I don't know why she got it. Maybe because she's from Kyrgyzstan instead
of Russia? She won't even be here till Dec because she wanted to finish
school. I wasn't planning on any sooner anyway. I mail repeat Mailed off
forms to INS Aug 2 2002 and got 1st 2nd NoA in Aug and interview date in
Sept 25. I was planning on at least 4 months min not less than 2. I must
be having some great luck.

Hello everyone...

I have been watching several message boards, and I will tell you what I know.  Keep in mind, no one seems to really know anything at this point.

1.  They stopped issueing visas in Moscow on July 19.  Soon after that it effected China, India, and Egypt.

2.  So far all other countires are issueing visas as normal.

3.  The "rumor" about the K visa issued in Moscow, was for a lady from Krykistan (spelling).  The rumor is, because the US just built a new Embassy there, and have a new military base there, they are allowing visa's to be issued from this Former Soviet Union (FSU).

4.  The are many websites up.  The latest is trying to gain enough revenue to post a banner ad on a website that is visited daily by many Gov. officials.

5.  The newest "rumor" is that some immigration attorneys have "heard" that they will start issueing visas Oct. 10.

All of the above is what I have seen/read on other message boards.  There are so many other rumors, but these seem to be the most acurate.  I, like many others, are just tired of waiting, and having NO answers of WHEN we will get the visa...

My best regards to al,
Dennis

Just wanted to let everyone know my fiancee had a interview in Moscow
Sept 25 and was approved. They told her they would mail visa in a few
weeks but to come back on Friday. On Friday they handed her the visa. I
did not believe it so she sent me a scan to show me. I letting people

My message above was posted by "cman99" on the alt.visa.us.marriage-based news board.  I am watching that board because my wife and I have an I-751 (removal of green card conditions) pending.  It is in reference to "cman99"'s fiancee, not mine.  I merely relayed the information for the benefit of those on this board who may be awaiting visas.

But there is more information than just getting visa's on this news net.  For example, we just filed I-751 for removal of conditions.

There's all sorts of information along the full spectrum here, including I129', I130's. adjusting status. removing conditions at the expiration of a 2 year green card to get a 10 year green card, and I have even seen information about naturalization there.

Right now I'm watching for any indication of I-751 timeline throu the Texas center.  I got just that from a Matt Udall (immigration attorney) posting just a few days ago.
