It is possible to find some old messages from over a year ago at:

http://www.archive.org

The messages are incomplete but many are still around.

Take a look.

I tried it and it's not worth the effort. EVERY single message that I tried to read only returned a standard "Error - Page Not Found" message.

This board has been around since 1998. I can't understand why it is that old archives get bumped out of this board every time a new one is added. I mean, why isn't it possible to read messages from four years ago?

They only archived the main pages without the discussion threads.  Still interesting to see who was posting then.

Check out some of the dates in 2001. The 2000 messages didn't get archived.

Barry, are you going to try to make it to Stewarts beach on Saturday, around 11:30 am. Can you holler at Cecil and tell him.

Will be something interesting, lovely and single for you to see if you can make it!!

I'm still recovering from food poisoning that hit me last weekend. I'll email Cecil and see if he is available.

Haha! For a guy that can't seem to get the gumption to finally get out of country and give it a shot it sounds like a pretty dicey invitation.

PS: Jack, I may be in Dallas in early Nov if you wanna have a cup of coffee at whataburger or something. (I MISS whataburger!)

Of all the things to miss... you miss whataburger?

You're kidding me!

How about Riscky's BBQ and Shiner Bock beer... now THERE is something to miss!

Breakfast.

Whataburger ROCKS!  Taquito's!

Second is they got a chimpy cheesburger with mustard and onions and I used to go thru the drive thru and always get two of them.  Ughh, somebody quick, check my cholesterol and be sure I'm still alive.

I've never been able to duplicate their cheeseburger.. (The small one), ever.  No place, no how.

My dad got me hooked on this place years ago with his whataburger nickle coffee cup refill thing.  He had those ugly looking coffee-mugs falling out of his car.  The things were gawd-awful looking, crap tan colored and all that, made of glass no less, but they worked for me!

I love that place.  It's the one near Camp Bowie and Cherry Lane.... well down the street anyways.
