Well, the time-line begins...

The INS told me they received my application on July 19th, and I am now "in process..."

They seem to think that they respond to these requests in 15-21 days...

We shall see, eh?

Are you going thru Vermont?  Most people get it from tehm within 21 days, you're lucky.  It was over 2 1/2 months for me, thru nebraska.  Good luck.

My NOA1 is dated 6/25.  I call in every day.

The taped message first said 15 to 21 days to process.

On July 18 it changed to 30 to 60 days, and on July 26 it changed again to 60 to 90 days.

I got such a letter two weeks ago saying the typical time to process is 20 to 30 days but I heard that here in California, that 20 to 30 days really means 4 to 6 months.

Best of luck to you.  Hopefully, you will not need it.
