Just a few weeks ago, I deposited a few bucks into the E700 system, because I wanted to write one of the ladies at EC's "Glaballadies." I paid to write the letter, sent it, but did not hear back from her. I did, however, receive 106 letters (as of today) from various ladies within the E700 system. Are these real letters, or mass mailings from agencies? I opened only one letter sent to me (the face was very inviting...I popped for the $8.00 to open it...sheeesh...), and it was addressed to me by name, and seemed personal enough.

I had heard soem tiem ago the concern that E700 was not entirely on the up-and-up. It bothers me that the lady I wrote did not respond...she was in the ballpark in terms of looks, etc...

Well, just to let you know, do not let the adressing by name fool you.  When you send a letter to a woman, it will pop up with "Dear So-and-so," in the Textual body.  So if it is a scam, the scammer doesn't need to know your name, the system does it for them.

YES you will get hammered if you put up a profile on e700.  I was getting so much I changed my profile to read 24 - 30 Years only please.  I Still get emails from 18 year young beauties.  I opened a sampling from some of the initial beauties who wrote me, and each letter was completely different, although my sampling was each from a different agency within the EC domain (so to speak).  2 were in Moldova however, one from the Kishinev and one from the Chisinau agency.  I have also received multiple letters from the same girl in the same sitting.  I have not opened them ($8 a pop gets friggin' steeeeep when you think in volumes of 50+ letters) to see if they are identical letters sent twice by the system, or different letters - may be an eye opener in there.  I don't know if the girls go ahead and write any guy who's picture they like without bothering to look at the profile information (remember it don't cost the girl squat to have a letter sent to you), if the agencies are scamming away, or what the deal is.

I have been corresponding with a girl trhough the e700 since December, she gave me her address after I asked twice, and she gave me her phone number (I never asked).  That seems on the up and up, unless the agency has the equivalent of a phone sex line gal who talks to scammed fellas all day long?

I think there may be too many questions involved in dealing with e700.  I am only sticking around with it at the present time because this girl has me hooked (assuming I'm not being duped).  I also did try writing a gal when I first signed up, but never got a response...  There's enough questions in my mind that I will drop them as soon as they have served their purpose in my current correspondence.  I wouldn't recommend using it to ANYONE who is serious in their search and wants to reduce their paranoia level.  Too many questions about the reality of the girl yur talkin too distracts you from the actual correspondence.  And $8 dollars a pop don't sound like much, until you multiply it by 50.  I'd rather drop the $250 or so it costs to have someone set up ads for me and then just sit back and collect free responses - then you know all the girls are real, and you only gotta worry about being scammed for money (mostly).

If it's a scam, it's not an ec scam.  It's a local agency that is basically like an ec "franchise" so to speak, that may use the franchise benefits to scam you.

I had the same problem.  Had to basically put in my profile that I was unavailable, and I was still receiving emails...  But don't put the system down just because it's expensive, and has its weaknesses to local agency scammer types.

I've met several wonderful ladies via this service and right now I wouldn't trade anything for it.  My interpreter, is the best friend (and most honest and direct one) that I've ever had in years.

Some people, expect everything to be perfect with agencies like this, even Jack with First Dream admits that it's almost impossible to keep a website, full of beautiful ladies, totally scam free.  But at least he's got some control over his.  EC, on the other hand, has their system farmed out to quite a few fsu agencies, which leads to the stuff that you see now.

So, take it all with a grain of salt, and realize that while the business of it may make sense, not all of the people in it will.

My point was not really that e700, and EC are bad.  I have heard many fellas tell me that they have met some great gals through their services, and I'm sure many have married (or they wouldn't be in business).  My point was more that the system is flawed enough that paranoia easily develops (I'm not prone to it myself, but I'm running a little scared right now).  I in no way suspect the girl I am writing to be scamming me (which can happen anywhere), but the e700 system is based on letter volume, it's how everyone involved makes their money, and since EC doesn't seem to be actively trying to limit potential scams, and everyone who's used this service admits that they get spam from women that do not match criteria specifically given in a man's profile...  It just guides my opinion to the point where I would recommend people stay away, and if you are willing to play the odds like you would in Vegas, go for it - but know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.  The system is rife with scammers wherever you go, but why work in a situation where you gotta worry about individual women trying to scam you AND worry about whether the $8/letter you are spending is going to the flesh and bone woman you really want it to be going to, and not some Russian Romance novelist...

Otherwise they seem to be an allright service, the sheer volume of Betty's is daunting, and the e700 makes initial contact a breeze, and opens a quick door to women who don't have access to email...  You can buy addresses, get all kinds of services - Including a K-1 Lawyer.  But I have heard their databases are horribly out of date as well.

I stopped making attempts to write first.  Bubba said something about "being the husband that she wanted, rather than what she had to settle for".  Well, the only reason why the lady that I'm dealing with right now, wrote to me, is because of my picture and a limited understanding of my profile.

I figure, that if she liked what she saw, then that makes things a heck of a lot easier for me... because there's something already there on her side of the fence.  Why the heck would I waste time writing to someone that thinks I look like an ugly gorilla?  (lol... I don't, but you get the idea).

I'm not an e700 junkie by any means, but I know the system, and I don't like it that much, but for initial contacts, and emails...etc...  to see who was interested in ME FIRST... it works, and it's fast.  That part, is the only benefit that I can see using it.

also, it's up to the fsu agencies to update their database to EC.  Which probably RARELY happens.

Chipshot,

This practice is being used more and more by different agencies.  I know of one agency that has their computer set up in such as way that: (1) when they receive a new lady in their agency, they immediately can hit a send button and have her profile, picture and a letter sent to every man recorded in their men's directory.  Also when a new man posts to the agency, they immediately send out many addresses of women. The particular agency has gone from rags to riches almost overnight with this kind of practice.  The agencies figure a percentage of the men will respond and pay the address fee. The women are inundated with letters through this process and most don't even receive the letters, but responses are made by someone else and this person is paid a couple of Hrivna for writing them or up to five or six if they write and type to send.  Heard a sad story this week from my fiancee.  A man had been writing to a woman for quite some time and the letters were actually being answered by her mother.  The guy didn't know and flew to visit her.  The girl didn't want to see him and he was left in town with no other options and heartbroken.  What often happens also, is the woman that a man is writing to will not write the first few responses when her picture has been mass mailed, but then will screen the letters that other people write and then after two of three, will then take the one or two that interest her most and pick up from there.  Would suggest being the one to initiate all first written correspondence and then write only to the one that you choose.

I've seen that some people considered it a scam.  One thing about scam sites though, is that a lot of companies put their major competitors on the scam list.

One guy told me he would check the profile before he opened the email to see if he was interested.  I will probably sign up for it this weekend and send some emails out with it.  I only wanted to send letters to women I was interested in but it doesn't look like you get that option.  When I advertised a couple of years back I got lots of unwanted mail.  If I could get 385 letters before email, what will I get now?  Two thousand emails?  Scru that!  I do not want to feel pressured to answer hundreds of emails at $6 a pop (in volume).  It's so much better now to have email because that speeds up the whole correspondence process, but it speeds up the junk email process.  Letters took about 2 weeks average.  Only a few girls did not want to use email.

you can write to any lady on the site,
even if she has not sent to you first.. some % of the emails
are just a try to rack up the email fees. try to request her phone soon.
consider other email methods-services and plan
to have both of you switch to using those.

I suggest you look at the anti-scam pages about e700.
