I've never been convicted of a crime, but I should've had a DWI when I was 18. I was out driving with a young lady in my neighborhood one night after about 6 beers. Not only was I drunk but I wanted to kiss her while I was driving. About that time I took out 2 parked cars. Police came to investigate. It was about 2 in the morning. I had more beer in the trunk. I can't explain why he didn't even test me. I don't drink and drive anymore, because I don't drink anymore. I did all my heavy drinking before I was legal.
Anyway, for entertainment I remember one time Bo and Jim on the morning radio here in Dallas did a rap song called the Walker Railey Rap, about a preacher here who put his wife in a coma trying to choke her to death so he could marry his lover (and the Dallas DA could never convict him) (or maybe I should say "some people say that a preacher ...."):
The fifth, the fifth, I'm gonna take the fifth
I ain't sayin' where I was or who I's with
I wasn't anywhere near my home
I was talkin' to my wife on my mobile telephone
