Since you were there, I would have thought you would have known. And yes, he does expect to be paid for providing introductions, just like any other agency. But, you can negotiate with him, unlike most other agencies. The problem you had may have been basic communication, as Dr. Diaz does not speak much English and you may not speak much Spanish.
My experience was that Bucaramanga does not get many gringo visitors and therefore you are a hot commodity, drawing lots of interest from the ladies. A few of his ladies are quite attractive and age diffrences are less a factor/issue than anywhere I've been in Colombia. While Dr. Diaz is not as well organized as most "professional" agencies, he does have pictures for you to see of all his lady members, they are just not in books. He obviously failed to show them to you for some reason.
Overall, I was very happy with his services (I speak Spanish, which helps a lot!) and am a very experienced agency visitor (too experienced, some will say)in Colombia. Christhian went out of his way to help me. From time to time he has helped contact a few ladies I have known from other sources.
While the city of Bucaramanga may not be for everybody, Dr. Diaz did a very good job for me. He is reliable and honest. I know others who would also say the same as I have said.
