All,

When I travel to several countries in Latin America I would prefer to use disposable cameras to reduce my risk of loss in case of robbery or burglary.

I will be gone for several months and don't want to carry a quantity of these with me.  Is it possible to purchase them abroad?

I have seen them for sale in Cartagena.  

Shouldn't be a problem.

You will be able to purchase disposable cameras to your hearts content all throughout Latin America.  It is not quite as bad as Afghanistan.  I believe that Kodak and Fuji Film have called home their salesmen from Kabul.
