This is especially true during the summer months. On one of my first Cali, agency visits I overlapped 3 holidays, all on monday. When we asked the agency employees and the girl members what the holiday was, none of them knew ! They simply replied, "we don't know what the Holiday is for, we just know we don't have to go to work".

I am sure that the major, religious holidays, are better known.

It seems like every Monday is a holiday.Actually they probably have 20-30 holidays a year,I haven't seen a list.

Hi,

This is a start. Not real complete. Pretty terse too. But better than nothing.
