Normaly I just bring a carry on bag when I travel but last trip to Colombia I took my sweetheart to San andres.
When we arrived at the airport in Cali there was no one to wrap the bags with plastic wrap and the ticket attendant said there should be no problem with shipping the bags unwrapped. Never having a problem before I was amazed when I hit SanAndres and our bags had been gone through and various articles taken. Can you believe they took a very large bottle of shampoo, perfume, translator, and probably what hurt me the most is they stole some of my sweethearts lingere( I COULD KILL THEM FOR THAT ONE),.
Thank god she had brought more than one outfit.  Sent a complaint to Avianca but have never heard back from them.
Now I know better
Becareful my friends

Dear Sir:

Sorry about your experience.  What perverts!!  I sent a package to cali and when it hadn't arrived in 3 weeks time I then called and the first man that I talked to in miami said this statement verbatim."  It's probably lost, man.  We lose stuff all the time."
Talk about etiqette!!  These were my only copies of all the paperwork for the judge for the wedding!!!
After numerous calls I finally got my package delivered, but I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company.

      Avianca needs to improve!!!

We'll another thing that concerns me is the  lack of security, If these guys can walk out of the airport carry assorted items and not be questioned it realy makes you wonder what they walk in with. I am glad they haven't started blowing up comercial airliners or started stuffing drugs in peoples luggage.
