Do you think Howard's story is unique?  For those of you who are new to this you have alot to learn.  And for those of you who have been there and done that, don't fall into the trap of thinking you know everything there is to know about these beautiful Calenas.  Howard's story which is 100% fact is tragic but he isn't alone.  He just had the courage to share his situation with you.  I know many a gringo who has been burned but also I know many men who are very happy.  It really comes down to being smart about it.  Many of you here will go the agency route to meet ladies.  The agencies are a double edged sword.  I think some quality ladies can be met at some of the agencies but the younger agency girls can be unpredictable.  Also the motives of most of the agency ladies is plain and simple.  They desire a better life for themselves and their families.  Remember once you marry the calena you also get the family.  Don't think that once you have your new wife here in the states she will forget about those left behind.  The other method to meet ladies is on your own.  Cali is full of beautiful single ladies as are most cities in Colombia.  So there is no shortage of women to meet.  But once again you need to take your time and get to know these women over time.  This isn't a cheap endeavor.  Be prepared to travel to Colombia quite abit.  It's no different than meeting a women in the United States.  You need to spend time with her and get to know her.  But the only difference is now you have to travel to South America which isn't exactly around the corner.  So time and money are needed.  Another thing many gringos don't bother to do is to embrace Colombia, it's culture and it's people.  This will go along way in getting more insight on the women of Colombia.  If you thought this was going to be a walk in a park then you're mistaken.  I travel to Cali every month.  I have a home and business there.  I have embraced this city and it's people.  My travels and friendships with Colombians has taught me alot.  I hope all of you future travelers to Colombia will take some of the knowledge learned here and use it.
