Batam Island

Hello, my name's Tom, and I'm going to be working on Batam Island in Indonesia in the near future for an extended period of time, very extended. Can anyone tell me what the ladies there are like? I'd like to find a lady who, how can I say it, is honorable I guess? Any information would be appreciated, both on that subject, and all around life there if anyone knows, thanks.

What a wonderful opportunity. The vast majority of women you will meet are very decent (i.e. don't expect premarital sex!) with a good level of education (higher than the Philippines in my experience). Ladies of Chinese descent are usually christian while Ladies of Malay descent are most likely muslim. Either can make a great match (just be prepared to convert to islam if you become serious about a muslim girl!).
