I met alot of girls over the first four days.  Almost all of the

girls I met initially I met in the @dventures@ndromance office on the

third floor of the Hotel Chaika (not a hotel I would recommend

staying at ie. cheap rooms but you wouldn't get sleep because hookers

would be banging on your door all night (or so I was told).  I wanted

to meet 21 girls and over the first five days I met them all.  The

girls were on time.  Girls I liked I set up subsequent dates with.

Many of the girls liked me and I them.  I had a big problem on my

hands ie. which girls to choose.  Most girls looked great, though

some looked better than their photos and others looked worse.  Two

girls really stood out in my mind.  One was 23 and the other was the

33 year old brunette.  I went out with Natalia, the 33 year old

brunette every day until day 6 when she had to go to Krasnodar two

days for her job.  That is when I concentrated on Larisa, a 23 year

old girl with beautiful blue eyes, long eyelashes and a body that

could easily be playmate of the year.  She was a joy to slow dance

with in a nightclub.  However, this trip I was determined to find a

wife and stop thinking with my little head.  I realized that she was

just too childish for me to take a chance on a fiance visa with her.

One afternoon with Larisa I went up a furnicular overseaing the whole

city with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Sochi is a truly beautiful vacation spot, whether you hook up with a

girl or not.  Of course all of our primary goals is to hook up.  The

next morning I visited the primate breeding program.  Since that is

what I do in part for a living that was particularly interesting for

me.  From that point on I knew that I would be spending the rest of

my time with Natalie.  About 30 minutes outside of Sochi starts

mountains.  The region Krasnaya Polyana has a ski lift which takes you

up 2000 feet.  At the bottom it is green.  Half way up it starts to

become cold.  1/3 from the top was snow and skiiers.  I gave Natalie a

Kalto ($75 ring with a $5 heart shaped box) to remember me.  It was a

very romantic moment going up the ski lift giving her the ring.

Like always I have my doubts.  I never had sex with her, just

passionate hugs kisses etc.  but 10 days of knowing this person did

not present itself for sex - not what I wanted, but thats how it went.

Is it enough to not do a fiance visa?  I will see her when I go to

Novosibirsk or Moscow over the next month.  After that I will put in

the fiance visa paperwork.  Oh, one other thing I did that was great

was a "cruise" which was really a two hour day - boatride on the

Black sea.  There were dolphins swimming by left and right, truly

beautiful, but honestly better on the St. Maarten beach.  Still, for

that part of the world it was really nice.  The best restaurants were

"Home Cooking" and "Ear of Corn."  Underneath the big mural of Lennin

by the River Sochi is a whole bunch of cheap restaurants with

excellent shastlick.  We always ordered the pork shastlick which was

truly stupendous.  On the way back from Krasnaya Polyana is an

Armenian restaurant.  I had pork shastlick there as well.  Excellent.

One other thing about Sochi.  There is a definite mafia presence.

Also, there are alot of Armenian taxi cab drivers.  You just see the

Armenians at the airport and driving taxis (plus that one restaurant).

They are scary looking and just tended to lear with black beady eyes.

All in all I had a great time.  If you are looking for a full service

agency where you can meet alot of girls this is a good one right now,

especially if you are between 30 and 45 due to the ages of most of the

pretty girls.  I say right now because I know there are lots of pretty

girls right now.  How well they will be able to recruit new pretty

girls is an unknown.  Sochi is a small city (350000 people which

swells to 1 - 1.2 million over the summer).  Therefore, I can only

see a limited period of time before they get fished out.  However,

right now they are a great agency to deal with.  I know they are

hungry for clients right now and will give deep discounts to get you

to go.  Oh, two other interesting things.  On Adolph Hitlers birthday

there was a fear that skinheads would target foreigners.  We ate that

night at the hotel we were staying at.  It was a running joke amongst

the three Americans that we would have nothing to worry about because

we had an American representative with us (the 58 year old guy was

a big burly guy from Georgia who happened to be bald).  His joke about

me is that I may be mistaken for a Turk, Georgian or Armenian because

I am short and darker than the average guy.  Luckily,  I do not have

a big hook for a nose and have green eyes, so I never had that

problem.  One last thing which disturbs me, but is good for you the

possible consumer.  Natasha, the excellent manager from

@dventures@ndrom@nce.c@m worked for a disreputable agency in that

town called @ Rus@n Rom@nce.  She left that agency and took alot of

their prettiest girls with her.  What that agency would do, besides

charge a high fee to Americans and then nickel and dime them when they

were there, was steer them away from the pretty girls for dogs even

if it mean't lying to the guys that the pretty girls did not like them

and lying to the pretty girls about the guy.  The reason is that @RR

would make girls pay to join.  If a girl was pretty they would take

her as a client to use her photos on their website but then would do

everything possible to make sure she would not hook up with a guy when

he came over.  Natasha, the manager for @dventures@ndrom@nce.com, used

to work for @ Russi@n Rom@nce and saw what was going on from the

inside.  Many girls in that agency were unhappy.  So, Natasha took

the prettiest girls with her in @dventuresandRom@nce.com determined

to do what was right.  Right now @dventures@ndrom@nce.com is like the

wild west, just yours for the taking. Plenty of girls, no competition

in a beautiful city.  I can not guarantee you will match, but they

will try their best for you, accompany you every step of the way if

that is what you would like them to do and the girls most importantly

are there.  I will meet my Natalie in the near future, think about

how our lives will be togehter and make a decision about a fiance visa

at that point.  I have learned that another vacation / meeting is

well worth it when considering marriage - just my opinion and

probably many of you would contend that an even longer courtship

period / more meetings is necessary.  Oh, one other thing, I told her

if we were to marry she will have to sign a prenuptual agreement so

I ensure that assets belonging to me prior to marriage stay mine.

I had the interperter explain my idea of the prenuptual agreement

so there would be nothing left to chance.  She had no problem with it.

Was that your personal primate breeding program or did you visit a zoo?

Also, sometimes the big head should ask the little head: "What do you want boy?"

Russia's macaque / baboon (primarily those two species) research monkey breeding colony is located close to Sochi.  It was in Sihumi, Georgia prior to the breakup of the FSU but was moved due to Georgian independence / continuing conflict.

While some of us may not appreciate the commentary on the quality of the agencies visited in the middle of a trip report,  some people to visit here for information on agencies.  (What I am trying to say that this post combines two styles of posts: Trip report and agency review and that they need not be mutually exclusisve.)

I for one, am glad to see a trip report as we've had far too few of them lately.  Bruce, keep up the good work!

I admit that Hockey Guy does seem to be a bit of an advertiser... but he has been "pimping" the city as much as the agency.

Sounds like he's just deliriously happy ... And I'll take that over the trolls, and flame-baiters anyday.

I just hope that this relationship doesn't go the way that the Mordison girl did, Bruce... And that this one ends "Happily Ever After"

Of course... if it does, Ol' Bill will be hitting you up for swimsuit pictures of your RW so he can put them on his web site -sigh- Nothing in life is perfect, I guess...

Leave out the agency stuff and I can digest it.

Sorry WSbill, I did not mean it to be a billboard.  Just an error in how I wrote it.  I tried to put in the negatives as well as the positives.  I was just so happy to find an all inclusive agency in a nice city that had lots of pretty girls and no competition.

Actually, I did mean between paragraphs... but even so this was MUCH better!

I was able to read it without having to use my finger on the screen to keep my place!

Thanks!

Sounds like you met my Armenian buddies! Scary looking guys, but good men to have at your back in a scrap. My girlfriend got me into some trouble with some mongolians and the armenians jumped in to save our asses. No love lost between different ethnic groups in Russia. The Armenians didn't even know us. All they saw was one guy and two girls in trouble. I met lots of the guys and several of their wives. They treated us like gold. But I had a full time job to keep them off of my girlfriends sister. They knew my girl was off limits.

your posts are reeeeaaaaaallllllyyyyyyy becoming nothing more than an advertisement for that agency you refer to in every sentence. My suggestion is to try not to "try so hard" in pimping them....you're losing credibility and so is the agency. All it makes me wonder is....how much they paying you?

I was paid nothing by them.  I did get a really good deal to go and try the agency.  The same deal you could get if you want to go.  Why?  The economy sucks and these agencies are competing like crazy for clients right now.  I am just a consumer.  What is good for me should be good for you.
