What the heck were you guys talking about?  I thought I had all of the visa details down and now they also want to see telephone records too?  What's next?  DNA imprints of your mouth on the phone receiver?

Good thing I ain't thrown away my old phone bills.  Still got all the postmarked letters too.. hmmm.. jeez.

Got quite a bit of historical (and verifyable) evidence, so none of this should be a problem...  I was thinking all they REALLY needed were a couple of good pics together, and a few dated letters.

Appreciate the help.

...Thats all you really need but throw in some of the phone records also. Not all of them, just a few spread over the months you made the calls. Sending too much with the 129 makes the petition a hassle and I'm told it can often raise eyebrows at the service center.

Organization of your petition counts for more than overwhelming data, build it cleanly in the order they want with a cover letter specifiying the contents. Don't forget the signed letter of intent to marry from both parties.

You should keep all the rest for the interview even though some of what you send to INS may go to State anyway. You will also need more paperwork for the interview.

Documents are like parachutes: Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Although in my case(I used the DCF method), the 2 inch thick stack of letters, photographs, and phone cards were barely even glanced at.  The woman at the Consulate in Sofia was more interested in what we had to say, rather than what we had to show.  Wanted to know how we met, what we had in common, and asked if I'd met her family.  When told that Iliana's father was outside waiting for us and that I'd stayed with them for 3 weeks, it was a done deal.

....You should retain *everything* that shows evidence of a relationship and phone records have long been a standard. Keep every scrap. I'm not saying you should submit it (that can actually hurt you), but you need to keep it all, especially if email or ICQ-like methods are involved.

lol, and if you're dealing with multiple girls you should use different phone companies (or numbers) to keep it all seperate, as she will likely see this stuff at some point.
