For the issuance of the K-1 visa at the Embassy in Warsaw, your birth certificate is not required and I do not believe your divorce decree is required either for the K-1 visa.   She will need her birth certificate.  Check the U.S. Embassy Warsaw website for the documents that are required.  A different situation exists if you are filing the initial I-129F petition with the INS.  In that case you will need certified copies of the birth and divorce records, along with English translations of each document.  A copy of your birth certificate and divorce records is sufficient for the I-129F application.

Never ever send any originals to INS.

Many people lost their documents that way.
