I have had a long time membership in Kiss.com and just for fun recently wandered around looking to see if things had changed with AW or maybe I had been changed by RW.  Many of you know that I live in Ukraine.  I will be returning soon to US since my work here has been terminated on Chernobyl and I wanted to sort of see if AW are any different than when I left.

I am ashamed to say that they have gotten worse.  I conversed with a few on whispers and email and it isn't any better than the ones I knew when I left.  The ones I talked to don't know what they want and are searching so hard for something they don't know what it is.  One said "I know what I want and I won't settle for less!"  Just what is it you want AW?  Do you really know?  You have everything that a woman could ask for.  How much more can you be given to make you happy?  How many men have to kiss your b*tt?  How do men give you more rights and opportunities than you already have?  How many more malls have to be built to satisfy your insatiable craving to shop and spend money?  You have it better than any female in the world and yet you are depressed, pop Prozac like candy, and can't find yourself.  Amazing!!  Absolutely amazing!!!

I just wish all of you could come here to Ukraine and live here for two years.  Maybe you could search out a good Russian man to give you what you have been searching for.  LOL.  You would die in two months.

For all of you on the board searching outside the US borders.  I understand.  I truly understand.  Yet, I must say we still have the best country in the world.  I just wish we could recapture the tradional American family with every member of the family accepting their respective roles.

My RW loves her role as a dependent member of our family and thrives in the love and security I give her.  She is totally dependent on me yet is one of the strongest woman I have ever known and at the same time one of the softest.  Truly she knows herself and helps me when I am down and brings me back up.  She expects me to be the band around our home and she realizes her respective role as a housewife and mother.  She expects me to be the breadwinner and help her when she must face the wrath of the world.  And I give her the strenght that a man has when dealing outside the home.

Well, this is just a few thoughts that I must write to you about.  I hope you all success in your search outside the US.  I have said it before and of course I will again.  Be careful in your selection.  Stay in your age range if possible.  There are some very nice 40+ women here.  The young learn quickly yet the older ones I think are more sincere.  Maybe not so beautiful and that wears off quickly.  Try and live here for sometime.  Save your money.  Quit your job.  Live like a Russian man.  You will find a good wife.

Best Regards,

Is it definitely closed or is there some sort of cleaning up operation going on? I read about a crack on the cement casing of reactor 4. Do you know an engineer Alexsashina? He's the father of one of the girls I used to write to.

A nuclear generating plant is never "definitely closed" - as long as there are spent fuel assemblies or any remnants of the containment or reaction structures, you will have a staff of people there managing - or trying to manage - the residual irradiated assemblies.

My bet is that Chernobyl's legacy will be with us very directly for some decades to come.

Dan,

You are quite correct.  Chernobyl has a staff of close to 6000 Ukrainians.  Not because they are needed but because the government has no place else to put them for work.  So, here is a pork barrel project to keep people employed.  Doing what you ask?  I really don't know myself.

There is very little cleanup being performed since it would cost too much money.  The work currently planned is an arched shelter to be built over the concrete shelter that presently contains the damaged fuel and reactor.  The fear is that a an earthquake or similiar disaster could topple the concrete shelter and expose the fuel to the environment.  So the largest movable object in history is planned to be built and moved into place sometime in the next six years.  An international consortium of companies is currently working on the conceptual design.  The work building the structure will be done mainly by Ukrainian companies.  Foreigners will be excluded from most of the work since the Ukrainian government insists that the money go to Ukrainians even though the money to fund this project comes from G-8 countries and the majority of money from the US.

Will we build this structure and wisely spend your money?  Right now I really don't think so.  I am being returned to the US because my skills as an Field Electrical/I&C Specialist are not needed.  I was originally supposed to be here for two years but it was reduced to one year.  The consortium has problems producing the needed product for a variety of reasons which I will not go into here.

Hope I answered your questions.

Never mind that with kiss.com, the ladies of the FSU need to purchase a Gold membership, just to be able to write and return mail. Kiss abruptly changed it's format, and I doubt anyone bothered to tell the ladies that they were essentially unreachable, unless they slyly post their e-maill addresses in their profiles. Many seemingly attractive ladies have not discerned the kiss change, and there is simply no way to communicate with them. I am sure that some of these ladies, many who are educated and attractive, avoid the agencies, and prefer the more Americanized kiss.com. Ooops.
