What do you guys think about this? Are you likely to find a great variation in the picture that is posted on the internet and the actual girl? How about in the pictures taken in the Rusiian agencies? Also, this seems to be one of the major areas where peolple see some success. Going over to Russia and putting an add up over there. How did you think that this method worked?

Everyone seems to have a different opinion about what works.

Anything CAN work.

Read through the archives. There are a ton of trip reports and information there.

As for pictures being close to the real thing... the snapshots are. The "modeling pics" usually aren't.

In America, we have a thing called Glamour shots. They can make almost any woman look like a model. (Almost).

But then again... some beauty can never be captured by a camera... it is a mannerism, or a way she smiles or laughs...

best advice: Use the pictres to get an idea... NEVER fall in love with a picture....

Although I received almost 50 pictures of a girl I was going to meet, the actual lady was strikingly different in person, once I met her.

But, mileage can and does vary...

I found that about half were actually better looking in person when I met them.  Some were not as attractive in person as their photos.  Other's were about the same in person as in a photo.  You just have to be ready to meet as many as you can and not pin all your hopes on one woman.

Even if she IS as good or better looking in person, she might have a bad personality or you may feel no chemistry.  Sometimes she's not interested in the man either!  It works both ways.
