for 2 months now and our wedding is going to be on the 10th. It will be a simple ceremony beach-side here were we live.We figure on almost 50 ppl w/ a cocktail reception at sunset to follow.
Otherwise everything is going great, thou Katya still doesn't use english even thou she understands all the basics. They both love it here and have really adapted to going to the beach or the pool everyday, as rough as that is. The hardest part of Marina's day is getting Katya out of the water. Tonite while I was at work they went to a tree lighting ceremony that was built around a childrens hula show. Katya was fasinated by the dancers, as they weren't much older than her. And we think that a hula class will probably be on the near horizon...aloha

Good luck Stan,

Remember that even though things may be seemingly going well now with adjustment, I have been told by many that it takes a while to really adjust. I would not doubt if the two of them will find the time that they really miss snow and other things from the land that they are used to.

Personally, I think that this is the most challenging part of all of this, not finding her etc but the transition period. Now realize that I say this without having yet to go through it. I think that it is best to have this attitude as it is harder for us to appreciate because we are not the ones going through it.

This is why I personally think that budgeting for trips back to the FSU immediately is so important. I also sense that it is important that one's lady know that you are doing this and for her to actually see the savings grow that are to be allocated for such trip. I would suspect that this would take some of the feeling of being isolated from home because a return is already in the making. Just IMHO.

Sounds like your sweetie and your new daughter are having a great time in paradise--- all the best... by the way my Katya - ( my sweetie ) had fun strolling along the beach and getting wet up to her knees in the gentle surf of Daytona Beach last week.  all the best to you and yours,
