Post by: Cali vet on July 05, 2001, 04:00:00 AM
Having just found out on this very usefull board that Latin Dream Girls in Ciudad Jardin closed a while back does anyboby know what became of Zuleima, herself the apple of many a gringo eye? Has she moved to another agency? Also are K1 and K2 visas versions of the fiance visa? Thanks as I'm not up on that.

C-V,

I had lunch with Zuleima M. in May.  She's doing fine and looking for new oppurtunities - job wise that is.  Send me an email and I'll give you her telephone number and email address.

Thanks for the update Devil. I'm glad she's doing ok. I don't really have any reason to get a hold of her. Just curious as she's such a nice girl.

Dont know about la chica but K1 is a fiancee visa that you
start here in the states and then your fiancee is contacted
by our embassy in her country to come in for an appointment
and then viola she can come here for 90 days in which to
marry if she doesn't marry you she must return to her country.  A K2 allows her to bring her child and will be
approved with the K1 approval.  The process can take 90 days
or longer or shorter as there are some examples posted
I believe it's alot easier than all the paperwork required
for Direct consular filing in her country.

Thanks Diego, the K2 is a wrinkle I wasn't aware of. I'll hve to do some hard thinking.
