Title: calling cell phone in Panama??? Post by: adventuro on February 19, 2005, 05:00:00 AM hey, does anybody know how to call a cell phone in Panama??? I know in Colombia there are extra numbers to dial, whereas in Costa Rica you do not need to use any extra numbers. I am having trouble calling a cell number in Panama. Any help would be appreciated!! thanks

[This message has been edited by doombug] "To place a call out of the U.S. dial: '011 - country code - city code - cell-phone prefix (if applicable) - number'. To reach the AT&T International Operator, dial '00'" In your case, for example: (011) to dial out international, then (507) for Panama, then mobile phone prefix (6), then her number. [There are NO city codes for Panama, should you ever call a land-line/non-cell phone #)] So, for YOUR call to HER cell phone, dial: 011-507-6-###-#### (her number). I'm certain that is the correct sequence, but to be sure, review it for yourself here: http://kropla.com/dialcode.htm "Panama" is a hyperlinked, so select it for further details. Or, try here: http://www.the-acr.com/codes/cntrycd2.htm
So, when calling my wife's cell phone, I dial: 011-51-19-###-####. Peace out! |
