Howard, Yeah New Yorkers can have their own style to put it kindly.I used to buy cars from wholesalers on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx.If I bopught a car I had to have it driven out to New Jersey,my trucker wouldn't go in there.They had a very unique way of talking,spiting out f--k in a very Sylvester Stalone way of speaking.But the rudest people I met were in New Jersey.Maybe I didn't meet the right New Yorkers. Might be,I just encountered a few jerks.But there are good people everywhere,and some of the seeming jerks are just kind of acting naturally and can still be OK when you get to know them. Just a quick judgement,unfair I know. Howard, There is an old saying you can't change the weather.But you effectively can by changing the weather you experience by changing where you are. I know that doesn't to too much good to a guy who has to work for a living,is commited to a job at a certain location and doesn't get alot of vacation. Lets see,turn up the heat and watch tropical movies?Take a HOT shower? I know,turn up the heat,put on some spanish music and make love.When you are finished it will be just like being here,dripping with sweat.Did that yesterday,with just normal weather here.I didn't mind the heat or sweat at all. Howard, I was just talking temporary illusion.Of course your still up there freezing you ass.How is your Colombiana adjusting to that? AND,you were supposed to be here for Christmas untill your company screwed that up for you. When you get old like me maybe you can just live where you want.Of course you get to be old also,but so far I'm holding up pretty well.The only way I can lose my pension is to die,at which point its not too important anyway. she doesn't like it....shit, I don't like the cold anymore. But she's not letting it stop her. Howard, I thought so,just as I immagined.Backs up my theory if you have a good relationship,as in love,she will not leave over the weather.If the relationship is not good she could be gone the first snowfall if she has the means to go.Happened to a friend of mine.He posted the story here a couple of years ago.Yeah the weather can be a big factor,but its not a deal killer if you have love. You must have sent some of that cold down weather here. It has been in the 40's here and expected to go into the 30's this weekend. Of course this is sandwiched between glorious days of 70+, but the temp swing is crazy and 40 to me is damn cold! Like your girl, mine is handling it better than I expected, in fact, better than me!
