Title: Medellin Navidad Post by: pablo on December 15, 2004, 05:00:00 AM I kept hearing from the Paisas how beautiful the Christmas lights are along the river here in Medellin. I've noticed all the preparation that the city has done the last month or so for the event but wasn't sure how it was going to be done. At first I thought they were going to release all these floats they had constructed and suspended over the Medellin River but realize now that the floats remain in place a few feet over the river. Lots of people go see these lights each evening and it would be a nice place to take a date. Here are some handheld evening photos I took the other night of the various lights for those interested. Enjoy. http://cards.webshots.com/cp-90806898-riPT-album/232729131PJuISz Title: Nice photos - thanks (n/t) Post by: cancunhound on December 17, 2004, 05:00:00 AM Title: Re: Medellin Navidad Post by: OkieMan on December 16, 2004, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Medellin Navidad, posted by pablo on Dec 15, 2004
Hi Pablo, I was trying to view the photos you posted on webshots. Possibly I did something wrong, but the website said they were not longer available. Are they still available? Please answer as I am anxious to view them. Hopefully, it would give me a better idea of what Medellin looks like. Hopefully, you and I can meet in person when I travel there. I hope it's soon!
