Well....

I just got back from Hawaii today and I just absolutely hated coming back to the high humidity :-)

I just read a few of the messages on the board and had a quick question.

What agencies in Cali seems to be the most reputable as far as service and making sure that the women are on time with their dates?

I'm not biased about any one certain agency because I know that there are probably alot of them.  I am also certain that there are beautiful women at most of the agencies in Cali too.

But, I'm just wondering about which one(s) of the agencies(the top 2 agencies) that any of you guys have visited that seems to have the best service and best experience with any one particular agency.

The angencies have no direct control over the girls,who can be late or even stand you up.Sometimes I suspect if the girl from the agency that is calling tells the girl you are hot she will be more likely to show and not be hugely late.If the girl asks alot about you and is not crazy about what she hears she might not show at all.Seems some guys have more problems than others,might be related to how enthusiastically the girl sells you.

Well, I will be in Colombia. But, let me get a grip on my spanish bro.  I just ordered that spanish course, along with the weekly telephone tutoring sessions, from www.bilingualamerica.com.

It should be coming in some this week. Check out the website man.  It's very informative and probably the best spanish course on earth; as spanish learning boils down to methodology.

Hope you find what you truly want in Colombia man.

I've used ACG, LE, and LB; I've visited LI. Now that ACG moved to the South, only LB is in the North. My favorite agency is LE, followed by ACG. My suggestion, which is something I'll do next time I'm at LE, is to offer a 5,000+ bonus to the secretary for every appt. she schedules and shows up on time (within 30 minutes). Last time I was at LE I realized the intense pressure that some of these wonderful secretaries are under to fulfill everyone's requests. Sometimes they simply don't have enough time, perhaps not that much motivation either. What's in it for them if they schedule 2 or 6 appts. for you? Think of it as a tip for outstanding service. Some may disagree, but this is definetely something I'll be doing next time I'm at an agency in Cali.

P.S. I also love Hawaii, I've been there three times. Mostly to Kauai to visit a friend in Kalaheo. What a magical place.

if you go on a personal tour, they will have more time to concentrate on your appts but i like your idea - sometimes i tip. another idea i've kicked around is to explain the type of woman you want and offer the owner a large finders fee

Well, it's time to get some shut-eye and close the ol labtop up...

Hmmm....your idea do seem like a good one, even if it does bring up a little disturbance on the part of some guys.  

I'll take that idea into great consideration once I get a grip on the realty of being in Cali and experiencing the agency routine.

Also, if you get the chance to go to Hawaii again you need to get to Oahu and take that submissive undersea submarine water tour.

Man oh man...it's a site to behold!  And, don't get me started on seeing the humpback whales when they start mating during their season. You can see them in the water regardless of what boat your on.  Heck, you could be driving down one of the express ways, with clear view of the sea(with your binoculars), stop on the side of the road, and see them just gliding up and down in the sea(there's a huge group of them).

Well, have a great night bro.  My eyes are about to fall out:-)

The rational behind the "tip" is that the major complaint, from what I've experienced, from guys at Cali's agencies has been the lack of appointments. I think a few extra dollars would go a long way in being booked. After a few days of back-to-back appointments, you'll look forward to the no show (kidding).

A couple of years ago, I went to La Paz, Baja California in Mexico and travelled to a gray whale sanctuary. It was an awesome experience to see whales and their calves in relatively shallow and clear water. My favorite place in Oahu is Hamuana (sp.?) Bay.

Ever stay in Kanaplali or Lahina on Maui?In the winter the whales come in there.I used to watch them from the condo I rented or you can take boat trips out of Lahina to see them.One time we went out on a sail boat,didn't see a whale all day,my girlfriend was disapointed.Then almost at the harbor entrance at Lahina a whale did a roll with his tail in the air,like 100 yards in front of us.

Latin Encounters is very good as is Latin Internet where I met my fiancee.No shows are just part of the game.Let the girls know you will pay for the taxi's and that helps.Most Colombian's are poor and a txi is a luxury.BTW,I read the book you spoke of.Very interesting.Thanks

Latin Best is a good agency for ladies who are a little older(30+).Be sure to call ahead and talk to all of the owners about your needs and interests.You might want to consider Cartagena as well.I will be in Cali later this week to see my sweety again.The visa is taking forever.

Thanks man.  Let me get a grip on this devil spanish of mine.  I just ordered that famous course from bilingualamerica.com and I will also pay for an 'over the phone' tutuor(if you go to their site you will see information on why they think tutoring over the phone is better than doing it face to face...pretty interesting to say the least).

I want to be able to carry on a decent conversation by the time I reach Cali.  That's the least I can do to let the ladies know that they can be personal with me without reverting their messages through a translator.

I'll take a look at latin best(I guess their website is latinbest.com then; right?)

Anyway, I'll check that out tonight just to see what the ages of the ladies are.  I'll also check out Ricardo's site as well as latin encounters site to get a feel for what their style is.

All Colombian is run by Ricardo at www.allcolombiangirls.com. He's a good man and i understand that they just got a new house. he also has good employees. No shows and flaky woman are part of the process in LA – hard to avoid no matter where you go

Sorry if this is off topic but I love Hawaii. I spent 28 days on Kauai just hiking and swimming etc. I have been 8 times and even took my grandfather who was 88 at the time.

I had a plan to move there. I thought I would live on Maui or Kauai for sure -
Never thought at that time I would be getting married to a 19 year old girl ....

some times life works out for the best

I loved Hawaii, I actually had to work three weeks during 9/11. We had to
install new data cabling into Liberty Houses at night which were bought
out by Macy's. First two weeks were on Maui and we did the island circle
tour and also go to the top of Maui. The last week was on Oahu but I was
too tired to  site see. I would of loved to move there also, but I am not
sure my type of job would pay that well to survive.

One thing the locals were telling me especially on Maui was that a lot of
guys especially stock traders moved to Hawaii because of the time
difference. By 10 AM in the morning the NYSE was closed. You could take
a two hour nap and be surfing by 1, what a good way to do your job and
then have your afternoon of freedom.

You are absolutely correct dude!  Alot of stock traders move to Hawaii because of the lifestyle and time zones that is so interchangeable ;-)

In any case, as far as the job goes, I spoke with the hawaiian real estate lady that sold me the newly built mansion that I am having interiorly decorated and she was telling me that alot of people, especially asian(as well as some mainland americans) move to Hawaii knowing full well that they are expecting a 40% paycheck cut!  They love it so much until they're not bothered by the pay cut at all...

As for trading, I do nothing but 'position' trade.  Since I trade options, I put in my trade on Monday morning and let it expired at 10pm Wenesday night.  Since I only look at the top 10 currency pairs to option trade, I usually only look at the market for 30 minutes on Sunday and 15 minutes monday.

Now, when I finalize everything with my home, instead of placing my trade at 6 am or so on Monday; I'll be placing the same trade at 1am or 2 am on a monday morning, which will be my only working day :-)

The secret is that the market, within the top 10 currency pairs make the same pattern moves week after week man. It's like clockwork.  But, you have to know what to look for and more importantly, you have to know what the heck you're doing or you'll get eaten alive by the market.  Also, your timing has to be perfect.

When I first started, I was so bad, I was nearly giving my money away.  But, as time progressed and I became more 'aware' of what was happening around me(the market), and saw certain patterns happen over and over and over again, week after week, then I started making money.  Because of the kind of lifestyle I choose to live(I don't want to be stuck in front of my computer trading 6-8 hours a day), I have gotten so good at trading until I'm able to put a total or max of 1 hour of total work week time in and make 10 times as much, in a single week, then the top 1% of the top fortune 500 CEO's make in a year.

But, in hawaii, like I said in my other post, you've got to have money to live there.  For me, it's going to be vacation and beach bumbing every day man :-)

That is good for you. You have the cake and get to eat it to. One other
thing is you will not have to worry about the woman that you marry not
liking the place that she lives. Any South American woman would have to
love the idea of getting to live in Hawaii.

Yeah, I don't want to put too much stock(no pun intended on stocks..he..he..he) into betting that ANY women would want to live in hawaii.  But, if 95% would, then at least the odds are on my side :-)

One thing I love about Hawaii is that it is ranked not only as one of the most beautiful places in the world, but it is ranked, something like in the top 3 places, for having the most beautiful people.  It is highly racially diverse and nobody can separate themselves from anyone else.  Hawaii is at least 200 years ahead of the mainland USA in this category alone.  So, in order to live there, a person has to be very open minded.  I mean, this place(hawaii) is no backwoods of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississipi, Alabama, Texas, or Florida.

There are alot of caucasian guys on this board that love dark complected women.  And, hey, that's cool by me.  There are also alot of african american men, on this board, that would prefer lighter women.  That's cool too.

The thing about hawaii is that 'interracial' marriage consist of over 50% of all marriages in hawaii!  On mainland, interracial marriages are only 2.4% of the total population. So, as you can see, if a guy didn't have financial problems and had the financial means to live in hawaii, and he was in a 'mixed marriage' Hawaii is THE place to go.  There are pockets of diversity on mainland.  But, in Hawaii, there's no such thing as 'pockets of diversity'.  Everybody is mixed everywhere.  It's such a beautiful site to see bro.

It's so different.  Also, Hawaii is ranked very high for having the best most healthy population in the world due to Hawaii having NO pollution.

Also, besides having a hurricane(which never touches the island of oahu due to it being surrounded an buffed by hundreds of other islands) once every 20 years, there's no extreme heat advisories, no sleet, cold, ice, earthquakes, or tornadoes.  Gotta love it man!

On the downside, I must admit that the cost of living in Paradise is high and you must have money to live in Hawaii. Making $2,000 - $5,000 a month doesn't go very far in Hawaii.  You could manage to live on such an income, but the pickings would be slim.  And, I am anything but slim on the picking(laughing).

Hey man, you should move there if your finances allows you to.

For the most part, what keeps people from to Hawaii is the job issue.  There are jobs in Hawaii but not to the extent that there is on mainland.

All the islands are beautiful, but Oahu is the most developed.

Great post! I have visited Hawaii just once and made a goal to retire there. It is the closest place to "perfect" on the planet. But my only problem with living in Hawaii, besides the high cost of living, is the develpoment of island fever. It is SOOO far from home. And every so often I would have to fork out several thousand dollars just to attend a freind's wedding back home. You know what I mean.

Regarding the natural disasters- agreed. Hardly ever a worry, that is, until I visited Hawaii!! LOL! When I was there, a large brush fire swept across east Maui, causing rt30 to close for six hours. No big deal unless route 30 is the only way to get from your hotel to the airport. The minute it opened I was in my car driving thru smoke and burning amburs. I arrived at the airport and just BARELY made my flight. The plane was  closing its doors and leaving when I showed up, sweating, caughing, and covered with soot. I think they let me on out of pity :o)

Oahu, the main island has 90% of the population of hawaii, as a state.  There's a reason for that too.

In any case, you need to get your butt to Oahu.  I tell you this, everybody thinks that Oahu is a small island; and it is from the point of view of a map.  But, it's bigger than what most people think :-)

Round trip around Oahu would take you 3.5 hours which in my estimation is a good 'joy ride' man.  

Don't worry about 'rock fever'.  When I visited Jamaica, it felt like an extension of where I just came from except the weather was better there than it was at the place where I was living at the time.

Alot of people worry about Rock Fever.  Nothing to worry about.  I can still get on the internet and order anything I want and the shipping will cost the same no matter what I order :-)

I ordered me a dell computer and it was shipped to me for FREE!

Also, there's 8 major islands for you to travel to.  You can either take a helicopter to any of the 8 major islands or you can go on a cruise, on any kind of boat you can imagine, to any of the 8 islands.  The trips are not expensive.  

Also, Oahu has communication satallites that are not available in the united states but are strictly geared for world wide communication for all the countries of the world.  Oahu is a technological paradise for computer geeks man(laughing)..

Actually, I have aleady been to Oahu. A beautiful, historical island with lots to see but I could never live there. Way too much traffic, especially in Honolulu. But still a great place to visit.

I'm surprized that you can order anything online with no difference in shipping costs.  That must take away some of that "island fever" feeling.

And there are 8 major Hawaiian islands?? Wait a munite, there's the Big island, Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, and Kahoolawe. I counted 7 islands. Where is the 8th island? I must be missing something.

All in All, I agree, Hawaii is the best place on the planet to live in my opinion. If you ever know of any good job openings in Hawaii, please let me know :o)

From my experience with Cali using Latin Best as well as Latin Encounters...both had very good service but both had their share of "no shows" as far as dates were concerned.

All Colombian Girls is owned and run by Margareth's ex husband. She owns Latin Encounters. I have never been there but have not heard anything really negative about them posted here. The only thing I have heard is that the girls there tend to be mostly on the younger side  (18-22)  Depending how old you are...this age group is fine to date or live there with..but bringing somebody back here in that age category if your 20 plus years older is real risky.
