Title: Question about Form I-129F Post by: Trey on August 17, 2001, 04:00:00 AM Hi all, I was hoping someone could help me with a few questions.
I am in the process of trying to do this myself and I beginning to wonder if I am making the correct decision. 1) DO I only send the anfidavid of Support along with the I-129F? Or do they ask for this information at a later date? 2) Do I just put the small pics they ask for in the envelope? There doesnt appear to be anywhere to tape them. 3)SHould I send anything other than the I-129F, and the G325A (Biographical Data info). Any help, comments, or email would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Trey Title: Re: Question about Form I-129F Post by: Ray on August 18, 2001, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Question about Form I-129F, posted by Trey on Aug 17, 2001
Hi Trey! First, do you have the latest form? The last time I checked the INS Web site, they were using I-129F (Rev. 3/29/01)Y. The accompanying instructions pretty much tell you what to send. You do not need an attorney to do the paperwork. If you can do your own taxes, this is much easier. No Affidavit of Support needed with the application. That will come much later. Put the Adit photos in a business size envelope and label it on the front. That way they are less likely to get lost. Don’t forget your birth certificate (certified copy), evidence that you met in the last 2 years, and the two statements of intent that Lori mentioned. Some evidence of a valid relationship is also a good idea. If either of you were previously married, you need a copy of the divorce/death documents. It’s a good idea to write a cover letter listing in order all the items enclosed. And don’t forget the check for $95.00 :-) If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask. I just gathered all my info and put it all together. So, I guess I can give a bit of advise.) DO I only send the anfidavid of Support along with the I-129F? Or do they ask for this information at a later date?...No, do not send this with the initial application. She will need it for her interveiw and it has to be updated anyway. You could send it, just to be complete if you want to, but, you'll still have to send a whole new one later. 2) Do I just put the small pics they ask for in the envelope? There doesnt appear to be anywhere to tape them. Label one of your dividers "Adit pictures" make sure you write your name and date on the back of each picture. In two separate envelopes(one for her and one for you. Label the envelopes. 3)SHould I send anything other than the I-129F, and the G325A (Biographical Data info).
