Cheryl, Have you already tried the forum sections of Brazzil.com and Gringoes.com? If you can hold your nose past all the anti-U.S. drivel there's occasionally a piece of useful information (reminds me of the Yahoo stock message boards). Alternatively, perhaps Big B, the king and ruler of all that is Brasil, can make some suggestions. ;-) David P.S. On Yahoo Groups there's a fairly active "Colombia Experts" list that has a number of expatriates; hard to imagine there isn't something similar for Brasil... I foundit cheaper to furnish my home by buying down there rather than shipping things. I was unable to find any great deals form US to CO, so for me the cost of shipping just was not worth it. Good Luck -TNC |
