Title: To the three going to Peru Post by: Golden on October 12, 2003, 04:00:00 AM When you go...you guys need to eat Lomo Saltado, pollo abraza ...both are great...the yellow potatos are a great too..taste different than from here...umm lot of seafood dishes to try...you have got to go eat the pastries at San Antonio Bakery...they are the bomb...I rate them up there with Hot Krispy Cream Dougnuts and Dairy Queen as my fav desert place to eat....ohhh Monolo's near the middle of Mira Flores..about 5 minutes from the McDonalds is great place to eat...is a sandwich shop and has the best churos ive tasted...is a desert ...it damn good..(not sure of spelling for churos).... I must be hungry...I keep posting about food tonight...ha ha ha....you guys need to try out the food ...there are several good dishes...just dont try mundango...yuck! its nasty

If you like chicken, be sure to go to Granje Azul... about 45 minutes or so from Miraflores. It's probably the best chicken... and all you can eat. They just keep bringing it out for you... so make sure you are hungry when you go. Most people will know where it is or how to get there if you ask around. |
