I came across something on the Internet.  

It gives typical agency BS in green, including some direct quotes from agency websites, and his response to the typical agency BS in red.  This guy has obviously been through the Marriage Agency Meet Grinder like some of us here who have been around for a while.

This is a good read.  

Your link points to the middle of the page and the topic "Does Writing Work?".  I agree with the author that "Most of the time, writing to the women does not work."  Most of the women want to see you get off the plane in their country before they are going to take you seriously.

A better link would be to the top of the page so that the readers will see that there are many topics on the page to read:

Final thought: The women on his website are from Barranquilla.  I always wondered about the women from the coast.  They are attractive.  But they don't look like Caleñas.  

I wish they all could be Cali, Colombia girls.

Did you check out his Introduction price - wow, this may be the most expensive agency in Colombia, of course his website must be well written!

I came across this agency not too long ago as well.  Not only a good read Valuedcustomer, but this is one of the better designed web sites I have come across.  I like their approach and ideas.  Has anyone had any experience with them?

I agree.  He also seems very open – he provides a picture of his wife and him, and his phone number in California and Barranquilla.  Maybe he is the second generation of agency owners who-- after being mistreated by the first generation – a few of them rather nasty old gringos – are intent on providing customer service and treating people fairly.  Who knows?  And of course, being that my novia is from Santa Marta, I have a natural bias towards ladies from the coast.  Maybe life will become easier for future gringos seeking wives in Latin America.  We shall see.

I contacted Jamie the owner of Latin-wife.com and he asked me to post the following message.

Hello
I am the owner of International Introductions and I was clued in that my
website was referenced on this chat board. I appreciate some of the positive
observations and good words and I thought I would clarify a few points.
I have never been mistreated by any of the other agencies; I met with
success from the very start. I targeted one woman out of about 600 different
women (an approach I do not recommend to my customers) and got what I was
looking for. My experience with other agencies came from research. I used
their services, talked to past customers, dated their women and read between
the lines. While their words were inaccurate and their services inadequate I
was only experimenting and did not have to suffer the emotional and
financial repercussions as other might have. I went into this business only
by accident, because I saw the glaring deceptions from the other agencies
and realized there was a need and demand that should be properly satisfied.
To clarify I am not the author of this quote that Steve agrees with, "Most
of the time, writing to the women does not work." This is a quote from
another agency that's telling you writing does not work, yet sells you
address to write to the girl. This seems hilariously hypocritical writing
does work. The time and effort a woman places on corresponding to you tells
you a lot of her true interest and feelings. All you men know that Latin
women are very emotional and it shows in their writing. If you are not
getting frequent and poignant letters from your interest before and after
your visit than you have just been provided with a very clear indicator of
her true lack of passion for you. I experience many couples who fall in love
solely from letter writing and phone calls. While one could find exceptions,
letter writing is meaningful and yes, of course the expectation of a visit
must be present.
One final clarification, canunhound mentions my prices are high. This is not
the case. I provide a variety of prices from other agencies so one can see a
price comparison. I provide much more value and personal attention than the
other agencies. I am not going to highlight those differences, but if one
does a real comparison they can see the added benefits. While I am not a
discount shop, I do provide competitive prices with better service. For
those that want to compromise the significance of finding the right wife
under the appropriate conditions they are fortunate do have many other
agencies willing to accommodate such compromises. One gets what they pay for
and unfortunately when you deal with the other agencies you often don't get
what you pay for. I will let the pictures tell you the story. The first
website is mine, pay attention to the third girl to the right.

Well I guess that all depends who they compare theirselves to - but $1,200 for 3 nights then $150 thereafter is certainly not a bargain.  Isn't LB in Cali only $500/join $50/night with similar services?  I don't doubt the validity of this agency, they present the notion they run a tight ship and have by far the best looking website of the bunch.  If money is no object..  I wonder if anyone can give a report that's stayed there and used there services?

After I first met my wife and returned to the US I started checking out other intro sites to see if she was there.

I found a photo of her on another site. I asked her about it and she didn't even know about it. When I described the photo she said it had been take a couple years before by a guy who used to work for the intro service she was a member of BEFORE I even met her.

It described her as 3 years younger than she really was and said she was available by phone or mail. She said she doubted that they even had her phone number or address.

I also found a friend of her's on the same site. Same situation except she had already been married and living in the US for a year.

I notified the web site owner (in Baltimore) and he assured me that they were redesiging the web site and my fiancee's info would not be given out.

The website stayed up for about another 6 months, was never redesigned and eventually went out of business.
