Title: Tacaņo and the "U-word". my view. Post by: HansErich on August 10, 2003, 04:00:00 AM Hello Guys,
Recently i read some stories about the subject "tacaņo" (= being cheap..even some times greedy..). I may describe myself as a cheerfull fellow and i am certainly not "tacaņo". I pay my bills...and never am introverted to give a first round in a bar. Offcourse please take in view take this is my personal opinion and maybe is NOT valid for all latin women. Here we go: Many Latina woman loveeee presents....little gifst..token off attention.(offcourse westernm women too...) If women realy insist in going to such places I think there is something wrong with them. Once I met a Girl in Rio,i was new in town....and she took me to a VERY expensive restaurant. Many latinas want to USE (OOO there is the U-word!!) gringos for presents, gifts or even that you must support their family. Do you realy think latin men will do all this?? Yes...to a certain level. Well now....this "lady" with whom I was in the expensive restaurant wasn't too intrested in me,nor in having sex with me. But OOO she played her part very well....;-) I learned my lesson.....that was years ago....I was naieve....not accustomed with local behaviour and language. Now are things different. I know the language...know the ropes....nobody F.cks with me anymore you know. Unless I want to..;-)
I seldomly saw women pay their restaurant bill when being with a men. Well I am NOT doing that anymore.

You have to be kidding. I have had some INCREDIBLE meals in Brazil. They have the best Churrascarias anywhere. I went to one in Sao Paulo that was incredible. All you can eat rodizio. They keep bringing meat on a skewer until you can not eat any more. They also had sushi, shrimp and seafood as well as veggies and salads etc. The meat was INCREDIBLE. I went there with a client. I had 2 beers and he had a glass of wine. The tab? about 45 reales, which was about 15 bucks at the time. I would NEVER cook if I lived in Brazil. . . .NEVER.
