Title: Patrick you should drop the Mail Order Bride Post by: Nico on May 25, 2003, 04:00:00 AM [This message has been edited by Nico]
Guide headliner from this website.Correction: You should consider dropping the Mail Order Bride headliner. Its a misnomer. I'm trying to think of what would be a better term for this particular endeavor.

I don't order my brides through the mail. That's old technology. Steve Title: Re: Patrick you should drop the Mail Order Bride Post by: Fuzzyone on May 25, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Patrick you should drop the Mail Order B..., posted by Nico on May 25, 2003
Not to start a fight but... Who's site is this anyway? I would never had found this site 4 years ago if patrick was worried about being polically correct. That's exactly why I keep the mail order bride term. It's the most common search phrase used to look for this kind of information. I realize it's not an accurate term to describe these ladies, but it's definitely the most commonly used one. [This message has been edited by Nico] Its Patrick's site. Its not a matter of being politically correct or incorrect. Have you or anyone else on this site ever ordered a bride through the mail? I guess it is a term like "Shipping" Although we don't usually use "ships" to transport goods from one place to another (unless it is a very large amount) We now use trucks and airplanes but, alas it is still called "shipping". |
