Title: The Trials and Tribulations of the HUNT
Post by: Andean Condor on December 23, 2002, 05:00:00 AM
Here's a link to an interesting discussion on Lonely Planet's Thorntree discussion board.  It is about Brazilian women, and is not directly applicable to those who seek the agency route, but rather those who have an interest in meeting South American women.  Ignore the venom that is being tossed about in the beginning, and proceed directly to the second page where some actual discussion ensues...  It's a good read (albeit LONG).

It sounds like a lot of breast pounding between a group of frat rats who decided to go to Rio instead of Fort Lauderdale on their spring break in order to meet the pretty Brazilian ladies.  Unfortunetly, they don’t shed any light on how to actually meet a Brazilian woman you would want to marry.  That’s the $50,000 question no one seems to be able to answer.

Well... after reading through till the end, I have to say that there is a ton of "breast-pounding" involved.  But, interspersed within the rabble rousing there are a few tidbits of information that may be interesting to some of the folks here.  I was also surprised at what an explosive issue this was at that forum...
So like I said, there is a lot of venom being bandied about, but there is useful info.  Every little bit may help.
