The marriage is legitimate and you seem to have a good grasp of how things work here and in Colombia. The State Department (i.e. Embassy in Bogotá) is better handling paperwork than the INS. And, besides, they know first hand the format and buzz words of Colombian birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc. Good luck |
