When I lived there, they had EIGHTEEN newspapers, including one in English. I lived in a cheap hotel right on "printers' alley", there were about 8 or 10 of them and two big book printers in about a 3 block stretch of Donato Guerra/Articulo 123 (same street, changes it's name when it crosses Bucareli). Heck, probably 1/2 of the entire Mexican publishing industry was within a 5 block radius of the corner of Bucareli and Donato Guerra. Anyway, I suggest you do a web search for their address. If I remember right, La Prensa has the largest circulation, but don't know if they accept that kind of ad. http://www.aucan.com/diarios.html Your profile says you are interested in East Europeans. Do you have a plan in place, including some Spanish skills, to deal with the responses you receive? I've never been to D.F., but I would think that there are more pleasant Mexican cities to spend time in. Randy G. has some good leads on nice smaller cities. |
